Were high schools out today because of Presidents Day? Because if they weren't, I am wondering what Kenny is doing shopping for iPhone covers when he hasn't qualified yet for college.

Our offense wasn't lighting it up last year, and this year it will be fairly pedestrian.

Since when has Alabama offense been known to light up the scoreboard.

No I bet he would have told him like it was. Dude played LSU for no reason. He got off easy. I'd hate to be him going home. Wont be no love for selling out LSU for Bama.

Well, if grown-ups are hounding a 17/18 y/o young man in regards to a decision he felt best for his future,,,then they are sad.

Just saying,,,since the guy acted polite and reserved the guy view him as weak and that he would beat his azz if need be. If he reacted aggressively and talked shyt about LSU then he woulda been a thug. That is how it typically turns out.

Dude did LSU wrong. He wasnt an innocent victim. He waited until the last minute and jumped ship. To Bama no less.

You want to go to Bama thats ok, but to do it in an underhanded way is pathetic.

The Sabans and Kiffens must think its cute, but its just pathetic. I'd be embarrassed for one of our recruits to do that shite.

i wouldnt have tried to be confrontational in anyway, especially at work. if he were actin like a thug i would have said so. i am 26. he is a minor, probably. still i will not hold any of his decision against him. maybe he handled it wrong, but he has to live with it and me punishing him in anyway is not my call. i was just informing everyone what i saw and thought it was board worhty. i told him i was lookin foward to watchin him play with us but i understood. however IF YOU AINT A TIGER, THEN YOU ARE TIGER BAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone say as fruitman says and act as fruitman acts...Is that what you are saying?
Diversity is what makes this board good.
I didnt take his thread as acting like a badass or threatening anyone.
He had some fun with a LSU turncoat thats all.
The other dud coming here acting like he was Mr. Cool is what killed the thread.
As I have said in the past, you people coming here trying to get everyone to act one way would never have a successful website.
Its the different opinions from all LSU fans that makes this site interesting.

You guys are a breaking in a new QB and hoping to start 2-3 true or redshirt freshmen at WR's. (Slot is the 3rd WR I'm counting.) how in the hell can you guys (not necessarily you) go to other SEC boards and expect to be contending for the West? A rebuilt left side of the OL.

First of all, us breaking in a new QB next year is a huge deal. Yet you guys are breaking in a true sophmore with all of what? 2 starts? under his belt and you act like he's some SEC veteran. We'll either be breaking in McElroy who is a 4th year junior, or Star who is a RS freshman and the same age as JJ. The QB situation at LSU and Bama isn't much different in 2009. You guys take one game against an overrated team from an awful conference and think JJ will be awesome. He looked horrible in his other outings, and he'll have his growing pains this year as any new, young QB will. I promise you he won't have as much success against Saban or UF's D as he did against GT's defense full of 2-star players.

As far as our WR situation, it is being blown out of proportion by even Bama fans. We have a ton of skilled, highly rated guys on campus like McCoy, Alexander, Maze, Gibson and Hanks. The problem wasn't so much that we didn't have other WR's so much as we had a QB who locked in on one WR and had no field vision. Bell may play some here and there, but he's not going to come in and beat out McCoy, Maze and Hanks IMO. If he does, that means he a darn good player and that bodes well for us.

As far as our OL, yeah we have to replace 3 starters...isn't LSU replacing two starters on the OL? Good thing we've had top 5 OL classes the past 3 years or so. I think we'll be ok there.

Bottom line is that Bama had the youngest team in America last year and won 12 games. We return most of our team and add in another elite class full of talent and Bama will be very much in the thick of things for the West. Both Bama and OM have easier SEC schedules in 2009...I think LSU's schedule will eliminate them even though they will be just as good as Bama and OM.
