I just don't get why other people's OPINIONS stick in some people's craw so much! It wasn't as if I came in here claiming to "know some guy who goes to school at Barbe" or saying "I ran into Randle at the Gas Station the other day, and he was wearing a Bama HAT!!!" I said I heard some things. If someone took that for more than what it was, then that's on them.

how do you know what I read? I go through the Rivals website daily. I skim through Scout on a regular basis. But, yeah......EVERYTHING that has happened in the past points to Alabama.
I'm not saying he's going to LSU, but I'm also not posting something every day having a "feeling" and conceding him to Alabama. I've seen NOTHING, ANYWHERE to make me believe otherwise.

fwiw, I don't fit in the teppertiger category. I'm hoping Northwestern St. offers Peveto the HC spot. It would be a happy day o on two seperate sides of the situation.
1. He'd never lead an LSU defense again
2. He'd keep Northwestern St. where they are now and where they have been. Mediocrity or less.

That's what I meant when I said I didn't bring up Bama. I'm not afraid that he's going to Bama because I see things that imply that he'll go to Bama. I'm afraid that he WON'T come to LSU because I DON'T see things that imply that he'll go to LSU.
I honeslty don't understand why this bothers you.
As you well know, the kid is quiet. The fact that he is a quiet home-state kid makes me pessimistic (and please spare me the Julio comparisons. I've heard them, and I'm well aware how that situation turned out. Regardless that is ONE data point...hardly enough data to support an argument.)

I think I'd just stop going to games if we hired Peveto. I had a low-level panic attack when I heard they might offer him the job.

Maybe the kid is a real athlete. What most of the people that post on this website don't understand is the view of an athlete. I don't mind the kids leaking info or committing early, but I respect the ones like RR more. Can you even imagine the pressure on the kid being in the 4a state playoffs still his senior year and all everyone wants to talk to him about is where he is going to college? Let him continue focusing on the playoffs and when Bastrop is done, you might get some info. He probably just wants to be fair to all of the teams he is considering.

I guess you don't pay well enough attention to who I pay attention to more....LSU or McNeese. I try to keep tabs on where or who is coaching and who is coming in and what is going on with McNeese just as I do with LSU. I didn't get any of that from Sonny.

I don't see things that imply that he's going to Bama. I see a lack of things in him that I HAVE seen in other LA recruits that will go to LSU; such as a life-long love of LSU, a desire to represent their state with pride on the gridiron, and statements from those in the know that he is a done deal (a la Mingo). That doesn't mean that these things don't exist in RR!!! It just means I haven't seen them yet. That makes me nervous, and ....well....see what I said above about pessimist with a lack of info.
THERE IS JUST AS LITTLE INFORMATION IMPLYING THAT HE WILL GO TO BAMA AS THERE IS INFORMATION IMPLYING THAT HE WILL GO TO LSU.
That is how I feel.
