re: Does home field help or hurt Miami?

I think it may hurt because travelling, lodging and eating together as a team, etc...allows you to be more focused than simply driving from home to play a game on game day.

Two sides to that coin. Getting to sleep in your own bed is a massive advantage over some uncomfortable, unfamiliar hotel bed. That being said, no team stays at home for home games. They all go to hotels so that the coaches can control as many variables as possible.

As far as actual homefield...Miami's fans are terrible and they really don't have any advantage. Indiana's first national championship game should yield at least a neutral field if not an advantage for them.

Has he ever won a championship other than a Catholic League Conference championship on a Hail Mary in HS? Conference championship? We know he didn't win a national championship.

What changed? He announced that he was going to Indiana before the semifinals were even played.

That typically means AFTER the season. Not a week before the national championship, bringing the entire playbook with him. That's crap and honestly might be the key to getting alllllll of this crap we've watched the last few years reigned in as it is just too much.

I've played Palmetto Dunes and Bear Creek. Personally I loved Bear Creek because I could actually swing my driver. A lot of Hilton Head courses are target golf/dog legs. It's been a long time since I've been though to be honest.
Terrible flag. He was in bounds and advancing
He had to wait for his players to get their doctorate

Not unless Cuban is buying extra years of eligibility.
They’re the final boss of Covid waivers. They’re older than some NFL teams. No, it is not sustainable.

These announcers 100% bet on the Panthers. Egregiously.
The 4th down was the difference. Horrific call. I bet Kirby said he wasn’t supposed to snap it and doesn’t own it.
Holding on the double move. Take 10 before you take 6. Good job by the DB.
He tried to tackle him without the ball.
Bama ran a freaking jet sweep out of Wildcat on their own 30 earlier today on 4th and a foot.

Everyone is trying to be the smartest guy in the room.
Cignetti’s press conference after this should be fun.
He learned from Saban. Other than his over the top arrogant responses he seems to do everything the way Saban did.

Georgia will be waiting in the NC.

AD likely in deep trouble too since he had Cignetti in the building and chose Deboer.

Still not sold. Defensively, absolutely. IDK how much success their offense would have against UGA. Both touchdowns came after turnovers so far.

Biggest WTF of the day is Bama running speed sweep out of Wildcat on 4th from their 30. You need a yard. Lineup under center and get it or punt like 99.9% of other coaches would. That play changed the game and likely cost them a chance.

Blatant pick by 10 there. Should’ve been OPI.
