Exactly!
LSU fans and Bama fans alike are running with whatever flies out of somebodys arse right now.
Here's a concept.... NO ONE KNOWS. Except for maybe the coaches and they arent gonna tell before LC does.
Now after all is said and done, somebodys gonna be right. Everybody has a 50/50 chance. None of this 130+ page thread means a damn thing except personal (but twisted) entertainment for us. Between now and his anouncement LC will be guaranteed to go to Bama, then back to LSU, then back Bama, only for LSU to change his mind at 7:37PM tonight with 1:45 left to go in the first quarter.....

I've said this before:
All that I am hearing (except what I am getting from this board) is LC to BAMA. A lot of people are hinting things, maybe to drag us a long, but haven't heard any reliable source say LSU straight out. I've heard BAMA for months. I've posted it here and people have gotten mad. Now, I've heard nothing one way or another today but I have to think nothing has changed or if it has, LC is tight lipped till tomorrow. I think some people hear a little rumor, twist it to sound good to them and then run with it. I hope what I have consistently heard is wrong. I want LC to be a Tiger.....BAD....REAL BAD. I can't stand NS and the Gumps and I know they will just wave this in our face and that possibility pisses me off. I think LC is thinking BAMA as he lays his head down tonight. I just hope he wakes up thinking LSU.

I think he wakes up thinking "man, that was some good booty, do I want to hit that for 3 more years or play in Tiger stadium in front of friends and family."

sounds like what you are hearing is speculation from bama people and LSU people don't or should i say didn't know so they wouldn't comment. i think LSU is in very good shape and that's all i'm going to say about it. i could be wrong and if he goes to bama i won't have a problem saying i was. i'm not posting here to try to get any credit for anything should he commit to LSU either.

LSU will be fine with or without Collins. Great pickup if he comes, but it's not anything that anyone should wring their hands over. It's interesting as hell, but not a class maker or breaker.

Pretty much every legit recruiting source has said this didn't happen.
But it still caused a meltdown for 2 reasons:
1) Lack of news from LC's camp tends to make all news to appear equally reliable.
2) LSU's posters are scared little kids. The news fed into that.

Just wanted to add something to this very long thread. I don't have a clue. That is my story and I am sticking to it. I did waste my time last night searching for a pic of his girl friend but couldn't find it. Did someone actually post a picture of her?

And then it still won't matter. Anyone who thinks that tonight will offer resolution is kidding themselves. This thing goes all the way till NSD. The announcement tonight isn't concrete. Both schools will continue to push, family will continue to push, friends will continue to push, etc, etc.
I don't know if he'll say LSU or Alabama tonight, but I am completely confident that the extent of this announcement is to communicate how he is leaning now. Who he signs with in February is what counts, and you won't find that out tonight.
