he's already got the baby grand installed on his back

Maybe he doesn't have a good grasp of what the term "lock" means.
On EEs counting back, I'm still confused. From what I recall, we signed 24, but Mett counted back to the previous year as an EE. That put LSU at 23 signees for the class, which satisfied the self-imposed scholarship penalty. BUT, that included Jeremy Hill. It also included Alonzo Lewis, who I believe went to JUCO. Why would JH, as an EE in this class, be counted against this year's numbers when he was already accounted for in the last class? Also, why couldn't Lewis' spot from last year be filled by Kiel as an EE this year? That would still put them at 23 for last year, correct? I'm sure there's some half-assed clause in the NCAA rules that prohibits it, but usually "making the numbers work" involves situations like the one with Lewis and grades. Why is this year different?

I'm sure the staff has it all figured out.

The TE, correct? Hope he makes it on campus

lsusports.net lists 22 by my count in last year's class, including Mett and Lewis. Jeremy Hill didn't sign last year.

Randall was included in those numbers.

I would almost guarantee that when Landon commits to LSU his girlfriend follows him there. No way she is going to let a chance at future millions get away. How many women do you know that would? A scholly offer vs a good chance at the lottery. She goes to LSU with him

Granier says he is 100% so I wouldn't bank on him getting dropped or greyshirting. We have at least 2 kids and maybe a 3rd that are going to be close on grades. The #s will work out like always. Hopefully ole Les has learned from the Porter incident and has already communicted scenarios with these kids.

I don't care.

What about the girlfriend's mom's dad's brother's nephew?

I'm not sure if he's the only one either. Has anyone else seen a list of borderline grade issues?

If LSU started this season with less than the 85 man roster, then they can count someone back to last year. I believe that is how the rule goes now.

Les showed me the list at a tailgate I hosted last November. I was too drunk to remember the names. Oh well, we won by the way.

I think the Sanctions prohibit that. That was a hard 23/83 cap for last year, adding would infringe IMO on those numbers. Its 25, + Greys, this year...correct if wrong.

That speaks to the character of Porter and Miles for learning from his mistake. It still was a bad decision by Miles(one of the very few at LSU) and was not good publicity for the program(though ESPN completely butchered the facts for the most part. The Porter angle was the real story in that piece and they basically dropped the ball). Thankfully it worked out for the better for LSU,Miles and Porter.
And I laughed

So we are getting Landon Collins and Kwon at the all star game. LC Kwon LP JH = 26 - borque and we are at 25. But we are heavily recruiting Tracy and Mario. Who else would leave LSU?
I'm hearing John Thomas isn't even close to bring qualified fwiw
