The gumps, nuts and dogs all recruit heavily out of Alabama, Ohio and Georgia. It's the only way to build a championship roster.

They made up for it last year with 2 5-star OT’s.
And two NFL ready offensive guards.

LSU should have some Ohio OL recruiting contacts from the Burrow connection. Where are they? Hasn't happened.
Get Armella and Jones in here, then call it a day......

There are way more blue chip recruits in Texas than Alabama and Ohio combined. There are way more blue chip recruits in Florida than Alabama and Ohio combined. Florida has more blue chip recruits than Georgia year in and year out, so does Texas. Louisiana has more blue chip recruits, year in and year out, than Ohio or Alabama.
In 2021, just last year, Alabama had 7 recruits from Florida, 8 from Texas, 1 from Ga and 1 from Ohio and juts 4 from their home state.
So its pretty safe to say recruiting heavily in Ohio, Georgia and Alabama is not the only way to win a national championship. I cant think of a year where Ohio or Alabama had more blue chip players than Louisiana, much less Florida and Texas.

I totally agree. The only 3 states that you might be able to build a championship type roster out of are Florida, Texas and perhaps California.
I should have said outside of Alabama, Georgia and Ohio instead of out of. We all have to go outside of our states. New blood creates passion. Fortunately for LSU we have lots of great athletes in state and players from all over like our brand! Geaux Tigers

Not really, I think it more player development but let me add this if was just a few years ago that LSU had the best oline in the SEC and top 5 in America.

We are still in it for Agbo, Armella, and Jones.
We get jones and one of the others I’d say we in damn good shape.
