I believe some of the Ole Miss guys in SECRec are saying it's not just Liggins at the place in Oxford. All the Oxford,MS highschool players are going to be there and announcing their choice of schools. IT will allow all of the uncommitted highschool players in the area to get their "moment". It's not a big press conference for just Liggins, so it shouldn't be a big issue aside from a littel heckling by OleMiss fans.

Great, now we're going to have a 270 pounder running the option. 
In all seriousness, I hope he can contribute and at least compete. But it's very possible he'll be on the line before it's all over. (ex. Russell Shepard move to WR)

He is just faking u all out....trying to kick LSU while we're down (recruiting wise).....pulling a collins on u all.....remeber pamansky said we were in good shape with LC

If he's faking us out then he's faking out OM as well. They have articles up saying it's LSU. Either it's the biggest troll job ever or it's legit. 247 has an article saying Liggins himself said it was LSU.
I don't think him not announcing for OM at that setup announcement is a slap in their face at all. This has been scheduled for a while and other kids are announcing as well so if there is egg on the face in this it's the Reb people for assuming anything in recruiting. They had to know it was possible that he wouldn't commit to OM seeing as though he favored LSU most of the process. I for one choose to give the credit to the kid because if he does announce for LSU in the middle of Oxford, he deserves credit for having the guts to do it. Guarantee that most of us would cop out and announce in a less public venue in that case. For a 17-18 year old to have the guts to announce for LSU while surrounded by OM fans is great to see and admirable in a way. Many grown adults could take lessons in owning their life like this kid. Now all he has to do is pick LSU.
