BamaScoop is right with the percentage of whites and blacks. Most the Deep South states is where Blacks make up a higher percetange. Mississippi and Louisiana are #1 and #2 in percentage of Blacks. The national average is about 13%, but the Deep South is much higher (except Arkansas, Tennessee, and defintely not Kentucky). Though Florida isnt much higher than the national average, but they just have a hugh overall population (larger than LA, MS, AL combined)

Mississippi is the least populated state by almost half (little over 2 million people) and is only 15 off of Louisiana's total. No doubt that Mississippi is the best, per capita-wise.

Whenb looking at the ACC/SEC thing, you have to remember that many of the Louisiana kids go to the Big 12 due to proximity, compared to the ACC
