If I were Sopsher I would go to LSU so I wouldn't have to go against Thomas. That kid is an animal. Mean streak and great form. His first strike to defensive player is best I have seen in any form of ball be it hs, college or pro. His initial contact almost everytime knocks defensive player off balance .

Big uglies is where it all starts. I don't care if you have best RB in country if nobody opens holes he will be ordinary.

Who said he won't get LA boys.I think he gets what he wants out of LA and some other big fish from around Miss and Texas way. From what I am hearing at least. But we are talking about young kids

I couldn't agree with you more. However, if you made this same post on the Rant, you would be fully eviscerated in downvotes and with fake ridicule.

This. The rant has become complete trash for the most part.

What he has/is doing with the lines is impressive. There's always room for improvement, and one can complain about lost prospects, but there were adjustments made.

Disclaimers:
1. Even though it produced some pain, I didn't see most of the OL transfers out being a negative.

2. A "miss" is a prospect signed who doesn't perform; a "lost prospect" is one you didn't sign.

Only time will tell, but Al Woods didn't play against the competition Sopsher has played against. He also wasn't a consensus top 5 prospect.

If he waits till the end I will have zero confidence. He needs to man up and commit early like Thomas and make the group stronger

Played in 97 and started 35 games in the NFL. He didn’t fit our scheme at the time. He’s a 3-4 hole plugger.

Al Woods played at lowly 1A Elton LA. By the way, unless he just retired, he is still a nose tackle in the NFL.

If Saban can’t land this kid then Bama is in trouble

There, I said it. And I've felt that for a while. LSU is in the fertile recruiting ground of LA as the only in state major program. LSU also is a major player in the bordering states of MS and, most importantly, Texas.

The state of Alabama, on the other hand, has decent talent, but not great, and has two major SEC programs competing for that talent. As such, Bama relies HEAVILY on out of state recruiting. Kirby Smart dealt a major blow to Saban last year by locking down Georgia, a major talent pool that Saban has relied on. If the fence goes up around Louisiana for LSU and if A&M, Texas and LSU maintain their positions recruiting the stat of Texas, Bama is screwed, and Saban knows it.

I wish I could agree with you but saban will still get his. As long as he's coaching, kids will want to play for him. I think last recruiting class was an anomaly for bama, and it was still top 6 or 7.

Besides LA, GA has been one of Saban's pipelines since going to Bama...but I think Kirby Smart's success might be drying him out a little bit there. HOPEFULLY, a win vs them this year will do the same in LA.

Nothing more serious than what's probably a balding middle aged man living at home what he says is just "temporarily" using the word frick to make his demand that much more real....

It's like....just use a curse word and take the consequences or don't and be the person you have always been, a big talker on message boards where you are edgy but at the same time are scared to type certain letters in fear of losing the account. So frick it is....

I mean y'all all get how truly pathetic it is to use child substitutions for real swear words...my favorite is seeing someone type shite...seeing as it's an actual curse word all over the world and is the equivalent of the American version, that one somehow gets by without problems. I've said it and I'll say it again....either have the balls to say the real word or not...being someone who wants to curse and be aggressive but is literally to much of a vagina to type in the real thing....which is about everyone on here...is just as truly sorry as it seems. And then even worse than that. Balls and vaginas. That's you.
