"This would never have happened under Les. I knew people would appreciate Les more with O as coach but I didn't think it would be so soon"

Yep, Les was on fire with signing and developing QBs!

Didn't we stand by Lowell even after he messed up his knee? If so, tells you what kind of kid he is.

Weird quote

Any ways Miles had both quarterbacks on board and now LSU barely has one

I still think we get Brennan

No offense, but every other school that offered him prior to the injury stood by him, too. Not one single school pulled their offer.

I'm good with this. After his second knee injury LSU should have yanked his offer. It is uncertain whether or not he ever sees the field again. LSU was just showing their character by honoring his commitment. He is showing his character.

I think once we hire an OC and he talks to Lowell, he'll recommit. Doubt he'll be on the market long.

The trend is alarming.....but I don't care about losing this guy....his main asset is his legs....which are broken. This dude will be Jeremy Johnson 2.0

Cannot blame these recruits. LSU has lost credibility with offensive recruits based on how they handled others the past few years, offensive scheme, unkept promises, not knowing who will coach them, what the offense will be, etc.

Agreed. From one point of view this is the result we all feared that stems from a cumulative effect. Then tack on the uncertainty of not having an OC if you're a QB.

Noting LN didn't flip, which he could've easily done to AU since he was committed to them at one point. He didn't burn any bridges. I read this as one poster did: this is his message that he is in wait and see mode for the OC. It'd also a damn sight better than flipping on NSD. I see this as very mature and natural with no insults sent LSU's way.

Let him go....LSU stayed true to this kid after that bad injury, and then another injury. Go after Keytaon Thompson. Let Narcisse head over to Memphis.

Well, he is still unemployed. Maybe he would come back with a sizable pay cut...
