quote:FSU joined the ACC in 1992. Mario, Sr. played there from 1996-1999.
When his dad played at FSU they were independent and they were a national powerhouse.

He will be in a FSU uniform. Get over it. I'm sure he did have fun, why wouldn't he. His dad isn't going to let him get away from the school he played at and supports.
Robby Green?

Everyone needs to get real. This is probably one of the top 3 players in the country. ANY top school is a good fit for him in different ways.
My feeling is that there was a lot of pressure to commit to FSU early on because his dad was the coach, lest the boosters would be in a tizzy the whole time, and this quieted them down.
In the meantime, FSU has been assembling a better than average class with some top players, and he has made some friends in that class.
However, being the player he is, he is doing due diligence, as he should. He's looked at Texas and Oklahoma, and made quick decisions at least to the effect he didn't want to go there. We're the last guy standing, and made our best pitch.
SO - my guess is that if he decides LSU, he will commit before next Friday. He and his parents understand decommitting from FSU would be as painful for them as LC deciding Bama. He will not let them hang until NSD. If this goes to NSD, it will 100% be FSU.
So far, considering his upside, he has handled this about as well as possible. He will be fine under either system, but LSU does look like a better fit, with the current roster, a former NFL DL coach, the SEC exposure, and the closer distance to Dallas.
Either way, it will be exciting to watch him play, and I wish him good luck however he decide, and thanks for coming to LSU....

i think he will end up at fsu. he probably does like us but with only 2 teams left he can't eliminate one and still announce on NSD.

Thank you for the dancing bananas!! We need some sunshine up our skirts. It's been a rough month so far, but the future is looking bright for the Tigers!
