From google (March 2024 article) here is the breakdown of the SEC teams listed in the article (% of Fans That Attended The School They Root For):

Vanderbilt = 93%
TAMU = 82%
Miss St = 69%
S.Carolina = 64%
Mizzou = 57%
Ole Miss = 55%
Kentucky = 53%
Arkansas = 44%
Auburn = 36%
Florida = 29%
LSU = 18%
OU = 15%
Tennessee = 14%
UGA = 13%

Interesting tidbit: Notre Dame dead last at 0.01%

re: But I thought LSU was broke...

LSU had the best Petroleum Engineering program in the 80s. Many of those graduates are now C-level at oil companies. Don't need to be a billionaire to contribute substantial $ toward NILSU. Just takes a few mega-millionaires to make things happen.
It's certainly entertaining that a post that started 7 hours ago is already garnering 5+ pages of replies - mostly hate-filled. Y'all really need to get a life! It's Sunday morning. Go take a walk or go to church. Mostly, just relax and see it play out. We only have one more week of this entertainment before the roster is set, and our attention moves to other sports.
Not sure if this matters, but he has functioning braincells - currently majoring in Computer Science, and he was Salutatorian of his HS.
I live outside of La, but like to come back for a game or two each season. Best seats I've found are in the "Skyline Club" area -- It's way up top in the South end zone. Given the arc and the height, the seats are really wide. The bathrooms are new-ish and so much cleaner than those in the lower sections. I believe the tickets still come with food and a drink ticket. The food is usually decent jambalaya and/or an andouille sausage dog.

The view is not bad. You can see the BR skyline, including the bridge, all lit up. The big screens allow you to see the action and re-plays.

It's kinda like being in your living room with three huge TVs and 100k screaming guests. IMO, it's a great experience for someone who's not a regular gamer.

I just spit out my coffee. Most accurate description of Lane Kiffin I've seen. I do hope LSU gets him, but drama will definitely follow him whereever he goes.

Thanks for the laugh.
This thread is really long in the tooth, but I just googled, "kelly's buyout reduced", and a Facebook listing dated 10/27/2025 from SEC Super Conerence has a post from NOLA radio host Kaare Johnson with similar verbiage as what Doucet supposedly posted earlier today.

>>From my sources with very close ties to the LSU athletic department and the LSU board of supervisors, Brian Kelly and @LSU settled his buyout for around $20million. Or around $30+ million less than what was actually owed to him. Utilizing the "morals code" in his contract.

Here's the FB link. Or, you can google "kelly's buyout reduced", and find the link that way.

After watching the Youtube video of him on "Next Round", I am 100% on the Sumrall train. He is exactly the young energy this program needs. :geauxtigers:

Boulder LSU alum here. Stoney's is half LSU and half OU. It's big and loud with mediocre food, but can be a fun party, especially for Bama game. An alternative is NOLA Voodoo in RiNo part of Denver. It's a small Tavern, run by a guy with NO roots (last name Baptiste). It has great creole food and will have LSU game on Saturday and Saints on Sunday.

So, I choose to cheer and want them to win/compete. If they do lose then I just move on until next time. It's just sports.

What drugs are you taking, and where can I get them? I try to say, "it's just sports", but try as I might, I still yell/cuss at the TV, and every loss feels like a dagger in the heart.

Oh, and LSU MechE '86 :geauxtigers:

I did that. The info listed is 17 hours old. Is that still accurate? Are people allowed to bet on Sundays? I don't know how this works.
Since yesterday's chaos, would be interesting to see if there has been any change. The latest update I can find via Google is 17 hours ago, and JD5 was listed as "overwhelming favorite" at -1400.
It's one thing to lose to the gumps (I became numb to that in the 8 years prior to 2019). It's totally different losing to those inbred thugs when they take out our QB in the process. It reminded me of the shot Todd Bertuzzi took on Steve Moore thereby ending his NHL career and causing him a lifetime of pain. Sunday was a hard day. I still can't stop thinking about that hit and the possible repercussions on that young man's life.

I don't know if I can take it if we lose to UF this weekend, AND if Jayden gets another big hit. I'm hoping they rest Jayden and get Nuss ready to play for the next two games.

The game I REALLY want us to win is against "Jimbo and his merry band of aggies". I'm hoping Jayden and the team are dialed in and ready for that one.

Might want to hold off on this sentiment until next week.
You forgot Grambling @ LSU - Maybe LSU can eek out a victory?

Ok, I just found it on page 3 of TR. Please delete this thread.
