Now it's a fried catfish lunch at Cypress Inn with about a dozen folks.
Go 8-5 and support wanes everywhere.

But at the end of the day IMO, this is largely a Saban problem. He's the best coach and recruiter of this era, he had ties to the area and targeted the whole state the minute he took the Bama job. Why do you think he hired guys like Burns and Davis? The Bama "pipeline" will disappear when he's gone.
This is 1000% true. My stepdad was a well known High school coach and is friends with Both Miles and Satan as he was a college coach too. He has put a bunch of kids on our rooster. Satan still always keep in touch, stopped to see him etc.
He always felt like as a Louisiana high school coach you have an obligation to make sure your kids at least looked at State schools. But many coaches do not share his feelings on this, and either stay out of it, or try to help kid what he think is best for him regardless of the school.
He though it was two way street, he made sure his kids looked at LSU and if he had a kid they didn't want or couldn't take they would help him find a place for that kid. ( Typically Out of the SEC.)

Its not mickey its an asst coach who is a huge bammer. Good guy but I give him crap about being a bama fan all the time. He certainly has a bias towards the tide.

There's a reason south LA people don't go north. Stopped in Ruston one time. That was enough.

Dude, next time your in Ruston you have got to try the peaches from Mitchums, they are incredible. Second, stop by Tech and check out their new end zone facility. On the up and up.

So I asked "what is going on with that" I was told that they had a former player who IS ON THE TEAM for them now.
Fixed it. LSU's Neville recruit actually sees the field.
