Lets not say shite like this until he signs. Not a good look for a fanbase.
If you think that Michigan or Florida are better options for QB's right now, you are stupid.
That's not controversial.

Billy is the young talent in the SEC. He deserves to be here and everyone is going to watch and learn.

Honestly let him go. We have too many other great options in state to play games with this kid. I think we’ve learned our lesson with putting all of our eggs in one basket.

Pretty sure the staff is higher on Nuss anyway.

Don't really care, it's not like Peyton Houston is a scrub.

Maybe they are. Florida and Michigan are superior academically

A former LSU QB is royalty for the rest of his life. That may well be true in FL and especially MI but is this a lifelong move? If he plans to live his post-football life in LA being a former Tiger is a big advantage.

Someone delete this crap response to an even crappier thread…. These posters are not LSU alumni and probably not LSU fans either

If you say so. I’ll call BK tomorrow and tell him he has your blessing to cut the kid loose.

So does he want to be a starting QB in the NFL or does he want a "better" education?
Because LSU is flat out a better place for QB's and those US News rankings are subject to all kinds of goofy shite that influences rankings.

but a work in progress to say the least
A 6’7” 16 year old quarterback that is pretty much the top player in America and you think he’s a “work in progress”
Yeah, maybe compared to Joe Burrow.
Absolutely retarded statement. Dumbest I’ve read in a long time, which is saying something.
Congrats.

I’d take Pop right now and be so happy. Mobile, strong, smart, charismatic, accuracy first days.
He will shine this year now that Evangel is getting some talent around him

Does Pop Houston have a committable offer? He certainly deserves one.

You’ve seen him play? What are his strengths and weaknesses?? You seem to be an expert on him

You’re the expert that says the top rated QB in the country is a “work in progress”.
Tell me about your QB whispering pedigree.
I have seen him play multiple times and he’s hands down the best high school player I’ve ever seen in person.
His acceleration is off the charts and combined with his massive frame, dudes an animal.
He’s simply a phenom.
He’s a high school Cam Newton.
Oh btw, he’s a straight A student and has a really good family.

I know both of Elijah’s parents and I can say without a doubt you have no idea what you are talking about.
