OMG, why do so many people think this kid has character issues. The only thing thats fishy is his handler. Byrce I dont think has anything on his record, at all. Perrilloux had issues from when he was probably like 5 stealing McDonald happy meal toys from his classmates and then being late to class because he was playing with them, but first reported stuff on him was at like 15.

T.O. doesn't have anything on his record either but he's a freaking idiot and I wouldn't want him anywhere near my team.
Brown might not be a thug per se, but his prima dona attitude and over inflated ego are very Owens-esque.
The guy was getting absolutely trashed on Houston sports talk radio yesterday afternoon and justifiably so imo. I wouldn't want any part of this kid, whose own HS coach, seems to not like him. I'd pass on Brown his idiot family and that goon of a handler.

None of you maggots have a clue what this kid is going to do. So stop with the, "he's not coming to LSU shite." Just stop it people, I repeat, you really don't have a clue.

Do you have a link with evidence of this prima dona attitude and over inflated ego that you speak of?
So you are for a 17 yr old getting trashed bcs ?
You insult his family for what reason again?
ulsaint seriously you sound like a self righteous idiot!!!

Any family that would let their son hang around a guy like Butler is idiotic.
Why exactly do you need a recruiting mentor when you're the No. 1 player in the country? You go where you want to go.
This kid and his family and mentor are everything wrong with college recruiting.
The punk didn't even stretch with his teammates in HS. That is very definition of a prima dona. Talk about a potential cancer. And the whole fasting thing is just stupid. If you want to do it, fine, but why make it a media circus. It's like this family has to be in the headlines for something or another every day ala T.O.

Does anyone have an idea what else is planned for his trip? I'm not familiar with the format of an unofficial. I know we should be showing him TS tonight though. what is the weather like?

Will be a little chilly tonight. It'll be blowing like a whore on friday night too. Winds are expected around 25mph out of the North

I'm gonna doubt that he was at Bogies tonight.

May be a stupid question and all, but It seems like with all of the media attention involved that why would a bar let in a 17 y/o? I guess they don't care since they were busted several times when I was in school for underage drinking.

ulsaint,
It's my understanding that a large portion of Bryce's improvement (40y times, etc) throughout his highschool career INCLUDING his No. 1 overall prospect rating is due to the fact that Butler has coached him. In other sports, having a private coach (mentor) in addition to the team's head coach (and slew of other staffmembers) is not unorthodox.
Take Lance Armstrong for example, even before he won a Tour de France, had a training coach (Michael Carmichael) in addition to the Team
Director Johann Bruneel. A lot of young athletes are taking this approach to meet the increasing competitve nature of sports around the globe.
With that said, our coaching staff is not ignorant to Bryce's "baggage", and if they thought it was a problem I have faith that they would avoid the whole thing. Butler's mission statement is to improve his clients as players and as men, and I'd be surprised if T.O. was Butler's "model-athlete" for this kids.
My brother has had a private trainer who acts as an agent and conditioner in addition to his head coach, and he also warms up alone because he's just THAT focused before practice. He takes his performance seriously because it's his job, but he's one of biggest team players I know, and is extremely level-headed, down to earth, and humble even though he's the captain of the team.
