Yamammas are you from Louisiana or the Birmingham/Hoover area?

I really appreciate your info on Humes. I just looked him up on scout and Andrew Bone has him as the 7th ranked recruit in Alabama earlier this year.

You have any other inside info on ant Mississippi State recruits.

Im going into my sophmore year at LSU, but Im from Hoover and Im back home for the summer. Me and Chris have been working out together and running routes and stuff alot this summer so Im up to date with pretty much everything thats going on with him

But theres a Safety from SP named Destin Challenger that yall are recruiting pretty hard too. Hes pretty damn sick himself, had like 120 tackles last year, and 18 in one game

I can't believe LSU hasn't offered this kid.

If Phillips skips the July camp then Peters and or Jones will get that offer they have been longing for.

Chris Humes still has a shot at getting an LSU offer, but he has to just blow the staff away and prove he is a can't miss guy. It's slim, but it would be amazing if he pulled it off.

I thought we only had one more LB spot and it was for Devall?

And did you get ur info on Chris from coaches or just your opinion? Thanks.

It's all opinion. There is always that one guy that sets the camp on fire with his ability and the coaches call him into their office and offer on the spot. Jalen Collins was that guy last year.

i think the coaches may be looking at devall and toshiro as hybrids therefore beng considered as LB/DE. which leads me to believe IMO that with the LB talent available to them they will not pass and take one more(possibly two depending on the DEs they take)true LB. i thnk they will continue to try and flip Lorenzo and take otha at the July camp.Otha is a beast and Otha could be the last one if Lorenzo doesnt flip. im thinking Richie Brown is gonna get left out.

Al Bundy, i think yall are in for at least one of the Otha/Brown combo and who knows maybe both. ive been saying i like Brown and Otha is a beast and the one i would take first. either one would be a nice get(though im hoping Otha ends up a tiger)

i think its sad when kids like this put it directly out there they want to go to a school then they dont get an offer, also it seems dumb, kinda like telling all the other schools i dont want a scholarship

Agreed. Unless they're can't miss prospects, schools are going to think twice about offering a OOS kid and wasting resources on constantly recruiting them. It has to turn some schools off. Especially smaller ones who don't have the resources to give.

I think he'll commit to A&M to lure Les into offering. He has an A&M offer so commiting would set the plan in motion.

In Peter's scout article he said he wants to play in the SEC and mentioned he likes Tennessee (only school other than LSU he has been to) and Mississippi State.

Only thing he said about A&M was they were recruiting him hard.

Les doesn't respond to A&M's actions. A&M has over 100 offers out there and takes an unsophisticated "shotgun" approach to recruiting. Hoping to get lucky. LSU actually evaluates and doesn't take a "first come, first serve" approach to all 25 scholarship slots. I do believe that may happen between a few prospects that are rated very close, but not many slots.

I think that Big 12 schools want to be as much like the SEC as they can without actually coming over to the conference. Definitely like to recruit the coaches and seem to have those coaches recruiting the areas harder and harder each year.

Doesn't LSU already have three LBs committed for the c/o 2012

I don't think it would be a problem if LSU over signed at the LB position.

ESPN is giving him some love too: LINK
quote:

Ronnie Feist (Edgard, La./West Saint John) 6-1, 215 College: LSU
An intriguing prospect to evaluate, Feist is a high school defensive end we project will slide back to linebacker. It's not always a natural progression but for lean, athletic edge rushers who can really run in high school, it makes sense in our eyes.

Feist reminds us of another explosive end made linebacker Ryan Shazier in the 2011 class.
The Tigers could have a future stud if they are patient in his development as he adjusts to his diagnosing skills from a 5-yard depth.
In the meantime, don't be surprised if LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis deploys him in situational pressure schemes, this guy can flat out get after the quarterback.

Phillips & Kwon are in the article too.
