AbovePar, I heard nothing to indicate he's lost his ship from A&M. He even called one of the Mods from Texags to ask if he would would lose his offer if he we to Cali. So it's something he's considered and was told it would not impact his offer. Obviously if he looks around or doesn't stay in touch with the coaches, that could change.
Tigah, I agree that top La talent will generally go to LSU if offered. I think if A&M to SEC happens it will help LSU recruiting in East Texas & Houston areas, but I think A&M will get a better % of the players they want from these parts of Texas. It will also help A&M with some La recruits that LSU doesn't have room for as well.
Big Kat, Marty B was between A&M & tu. Never heard that LSU was in the picture. I will say that it's easier for LSU to get quality players from Texas than the other way around for A&M. As we continue to get better under Sherman I think we'll get players that in the past might have gone to LSU or OU. Texas still gets (and under develops) most of the players that they want. Fortunately for us, they don't always know who to get. We can make a good living taking players LSU doesn't have room for and on rare occasions some who want to leave the state.

My comment was tongue in cheek. I think it is pretty well established that LSU can get most of the players they want from La. You can't sign them all and there are quality players that will definitely upgrade the talent on our team. You get Danielle Hunter, we get Julien. Both sides are happy.
I've read he's committed to A&M from a couple of sources. Miles doesn't get interested until they commit to A&M. Not sure how many more DL LSU will take this year. He's a good pickup for us.
Big Kat, I don't think he ever showed any interest in A&M (or tu) and as a result didn't get an offer. He was definitely on our radar.
Yamammas, Alonzo Williams A&M verbal, Alonzo Moore no offer. Comprende, douche? Not the same guy.

Both his parents are Aggie alumni. This one was over before it started. Manziel did well in the spring game, but it was against 3rd team D. I think he'll probably stay at Qb and redshirt this season. He needs time to learn the offense. Kohl has a great release and is very accurate.

I think if A&M went to the SEC it would help us more than LSU. It would help us in East Texas and with La kids who want the SEC but either don't like LSU or ones who aren't offered by LSU. It would help LSU probably the most of any SEC school due to the proximity of LSU to Texas. You already get a fair number of Texas high school talent. There would be a period of adjustment for A&M in the SEC but our team in general is getter better each year and I think moving forward we would have success.
We like Alonzo Williams and plan to sign him come next Feb. You guys just got a commit from a CB from Texas, so you're welcome.

When it comes to A&M offers I trust Liucci over Coppage. I think it's been pretty well established that if he wants an LSU offer that he needs to commit to A&M first to get Les interested. He would need a commitable offer to do that.

Getting back to the original question - as of today Alonzo does not have a commitable offer to A&M. Could change but I don't really see us taking any more WR's in this class. 1 CB, 1 DT, 1 Joker & 1 ILB are the most likely positions to finish off the class.
I think he'll commit to A&M to lure Les into offering. He has an A&M offer so commiting would set the plan in motion.

I'm not aware of A&M backing off of him post his decommit. He seemed to be in love with every school he visited post decommit.
