Josh Jarboe...and FWIW, I think that Stoops handled that situation very well. I suspect he'll do the same here.
He kept the kid on after getting arrested with a pistol at school. He only finally kicked him off after he made a youtube about shooting people that was talked about non-stop on ESPN until the dismissal.
Just like he only kicked off Bhomar so the NCAA wouldn't snoop around after Adrian Peterson and everyone else getting free cars/money from Big Red Motors.
Dusty Dvoracek was also "kicked off" by Stoops for beating his 150lb high school friend into a coma. Then once the media storm died down Stoops let him back the next year even getting him a redshirt for the year he was "kicked off" for.
Stoops really is a saint.

The arrest was when he was in HS, so technically he wasn't on the team, but I get your point.
Now, my point was that he handled the situation well, not that he is a "saint". By handled well, I mean he:
a) gave the kid a second chance (that he may not have deserved)
b) dismissed the kid once he became a problem for the program
He could have revoked his scholly after the arrest, which could have been seen as unfair, or he could have kept him on the team and wound up with a program like FSU.
I'm not too familiar with the other incidents, but again, my comment was about the Jarboe incident.

Folsom linebacker Justin Chaisson has narrowed his choices down to Oklahoma and San Jose State and will make a decision next week. Chaisson will be allowed to attend college as part of his work release program from Folsom Prison. Chaisson was convicted of multiple violent felonies in November, 2009 stemming from his arrest for an attack on his then-girlfriend.
"I really like what Coach Kiffen and Coach Orgeron are doing at San Jose State, and I am used to being around shirtless mono-syllabic men who try to hump my big vanilla arse, so it's really a good fit" Chaisson said. "But Oklahoma has been with me since the beginning".
When asked for comment, Oklahoma coach pointed out that "we have the number one overall defense " and that he hopes Chaisson honors his commitment, saying "I sent that prick Twinkys, Hustlers and home -made shanks for five years , he better damn sign with us".
