I agree that it doesn't seal the dal, in fact it might not help at all.

Edwards should know that he projects as a DT, but he seems adamant about playing DE. He might not even care that Brockers is gone.

Just SUPER....we get excited to lose All SEC and possibly ALl American type player so a 17 yr old high school kid will come.

You can go cry over on the Rant if you want. It's a lot better than losing Brockers and not helping us with any recruit

I don't think matters as much. We also lost Ken Adams. While not the most notable of losses it opens doors for him on the end. Kiki is more of a pass rush specialist and I don't see Lavar Edwards being the guy. If a guy like Mario comes in he could start at DE for us day one and jump others like Rasco, Jordan Allen and Justin Maclin as well.

The playing time angle is greatly overrated on this one. Have you guys noticed who his final 3 are?

FSU-loaded currently at DE with an All American caliber guy in Brandon Jenkins deciding to come back for his sr season. Also have 2 other 5* caliber guys in this class aside from Edwards in Dante Fowler and Chris Casher. Doesn't exactly scream early playing time. Have tons of talented young DTs with more coming this year.

Texas-Have 2 studs in Jeffcoat and Okafor and have solid depth as well. Have a good one in Hassan Ridgeway coming in. Not great depth but still doesn't scream tons of early playing time. They probably have better depth at DT than we do.

LSU- we're loaded at both DE and DT.

It's going to boil down to who sells him the best. We have the better history of rotating DL guys than the other 2 and with his talent he'll play early but if he's expecting to play 35-40 snaps a game he's looking at the wrong 3 schools.
