Same guy with a different last name, yeah. All I know of that story is people repeating it on socials the last couple days. Had never heard it before then so I’m not sure if there’s any merit to it or if it’s a case of the rumor mill running wild

Coming from an alumni of both LSU and USA (hence the user name), please fix this.
23. EDGE Achilles Woods (South Alabama - Jan 11)
South Alabama has fewer letters than South Carolina which you spelled out above. While you probably aren’t aware of it is South is a smaller school and newer to FBS. Unlike “ULL” which comically tries to market itself as a major university called “Louisiana”, “The University of South Alabama” doesn’t try to hide our identity and is instead proud of it. “S. Alabama” an insulting, which I am sure is not your intention. We certainly don’t want to be confused with school up In Tuscaloosa, just as we as Tiger fans don’t want our school confused with that institution in Lafayette.
Thank you for fixing this so we can get back to the regularly scheduled programming. Great work you do with the recruiting updates.

Teams must be in a Power 4 conference to have their name fully spelled out and not abbreviated.
Sorry its the rules. "S. Alabama" is etched in stone.
