Good he's a New Orleans guy and visiting LSU later in January, could be another five star added to the record haul for LSU this year.

The #1 pick overall in the NFL Draft last year was an OT, why not the top high school player?

Only on the Bama site. Scout prolly won't even move him into their top 15. Nevertheless, Fluker looks like an incredible athlete and should be a great OT for Bama.

I'm not sure who would have been a better pick for Miami.

No offense, but if you look at Shepard's passing stats, there's nothing that really stands out.

Ironically, his passing stats are pretty comparable to AJ McCarron, who weights 160 pounds and also has no running game.

I think that Bama has a great class, which could probably end up in top 3, with USC losing so many of their recruits recently. Fluker, Richardson, and Nico Johnson are all special players, but McCarron looks like another overrated local QB (think Tyler Watts). I bet he will never start a game, especially if Broadway commits next season.

From Andrew Bone...

Not sure who is saying that he was impressive in the scrimmage Wednesday but had a very disappointing performance. He missed blocks and was getting blown past the line.

I am not trying to down grade Fluker in any way. He is a phenomenal prospect but scouting rather than reporting he is behind guys like Marcus Hall and Xavier Nixon in terms of the top overall offensive tackles in the country. I have seen all of them this week.

Bama fans, please STFU.

You were praising him earlier.

Not to mention that half of Rivals' articles include him.

BOOM. i think most of his hype this week has just come from his freakish size and athleticism

Did I get to see him in the scrimmage? No, I didn't.

I thought his dancing skills were that impressive.

Theres no doubt that with his frame and his athletic ability he could be the top O-lineman, but its still clear that he is very raw at this point.

I've already said that he wouldn't start at LT next year. That's Carpenter's job.

The truth is Recruiting Rankings don't really matter, and honestly don't mean much. A lot of the players are bust anyways. It's no big deal if they move him up.

Tell that to the Wyoming, Idaho, and San Diego State's of the College Football World.

you damn gumps just wont lay down and take a arse whoopin like a man...1st you claim the Recruiting NC and want trophies and certificates, The you blow rivals for extra star ratings on players that dont pan out. Now you want your Prized 6 star recruit to get the #1 player in the nation, at OLine?! OMFG! are you serious?! Whats next?! 5 star punters???

Personally, I don't care where he is rated, but he is a great OL.

I do recall the 1st player taken in the NFL draft this year was an OL so I am guessing that it is possible for an OL to be considered The Top Player in the country. If it can happen in the NFL; I am guessing it can happen in the college football as well.
