Darensburg made the trek from Chalmette, La., to Los Angeles to compete Sunday and walked away with Linebacker MVP honors. The talented linebacker was sound in coverage -- turning and running with ease -- and also closing on passes in a hurry and showing plenty of physicality when it came to shedding blocks and competing against the running back group. Darensburg's stock continues to rise. The 2026 standout has picked up offers from Troy, Louisiana Tech and others and we anticipate that trend continuing into the spring and summer.

Not sure I've heard this name before. Dandy Don doesn't even have him in his top 50 players for 2026. Anyone have reports or seen this dude in action, and if so, please inform us here, thx.

One of the biggest surprises at camp was Darensburg as he came all the way from Chalmette, La., to compete and then looked great throughout the event. Darensberg is big, strong, tough, he can cover and doesn’t back down especially during the very physical running back/linebacker drills.
The Chalmette standout has only received offers from Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, Troy and Texas State among others involved but he showed Sunday that he has Power Four-level ability as his recruitment might take off now.
