4 years of run blocking. Now that's every wide receiver's dream.

Not useless, but I'm thinking we'll have a good chance at winning the NC my four years of med school.

Let me know how things go in med school at Bama. I was thinking about either going to med school at Bama, entering the engineering program at UGA, playing football at UNO, or trying out for the baseball team at Army.

I didn't realize Alabama had a med school. I always though it was UAB, which has it's own undergrad and med school. I guess it's like going to Louisiana Tech Undergrad. and LSU med school. I just don't get why, if you didn't go to Univ of Alabama undergrad you can somehow claim to be a Bama homer now that you go to UAB.

I know your brother hasn't made his decision yet, but do you think he will wait to announce on NSD or whenever he makes up his mind?

man i know, it does not really bother me, but last week my our mom called to say how excited she was to read all the congratulation threads on here.

then the very next day she had to see some of the other stuff writen about him.

i understand, but she is his mother, she cant let it go like me and my brother and dad.

i guess my dad and brother are the smart ones, they wont read.

saderade,
we thought things would slow down for him with his season over, but it has gotten even more busy.

first his hamstring had to be dealt with and now for the first part of this week he is in texas with the army tour.

when he gets back another treatment on his leg then mid term exams.

but if i had to say, whenever he knows he will say, he does not even want a press conference

Well, no matter where he chooses to go, I know you guys won't miss the recruitment process. Good luck to Reuben and the rest of your family.

God bless and Merry Christmas.

I follow the recruitment of the players off and on.

and I will say, no matter where your brother goes, as louisianians (sp?) we will support his decision as to where he thinks he needs to go.

sure would like to see another elite receiver in the lineup at LSU in 2009 though.

i just dont understand why some of you guys think you are out of it.

its almost as bad as the ones who think he is locked up to lsu, but i would rather have positive poeple then negative ones on my side.

i just replied in this post to hope to show people they are talking as lsu fans, which is perfectly fine, but maybe dont realize their comments are not helpful

it's the passion that gets in the way of common sense on here.

they only want the best players, and RR is def. one of those "best players" as of right now.

It would be great if LSU had him

I hope and think RR will be a Tiger. He may not have grown up a LSU fan but as a WR it seems to only make sense that he would commit somewhere who has already landed the top QB recruit in college football. Also when you compare offenses, he could run block at Bama, deal with a new QB (who isn't half as highly regarded as RS) at OU, join the U (which would have meant something 5 years ago), or go to the in state program with one of the best offensive minds in football. It makes sense to me but, then again, I'm not an 18 year old either. I think that sums up the recruiting process in a nutshell. We are logically trying to make sense of what is going on in the head of an 18 year old. That isn't an insult. It's just that kids see the world differently at that age. I'm more concerned about OU than Bama because, unless RR plans on playing defense or tight end, then I don't see him committing to Bama.

Not to sound like a jerk but is your mom really naive enough to think that this sort of talk doesn't go on on Bama or Oklahoma's boards? If she wants your brother to choose a school based on fans then obviously Bama is out of the running. Maybe you should let her see some of the other message boards. That may help.
