Nothing that we know of can travel faster than the speed of light EXCEPT space, which weirdly can expand faster than the speed of light.

Why on Earth are you so mad at a conversation?

If a kid knows he is going on an interview - which recruiting visits are, from the moment he arrives at the facility to when he leaves, he’s being evaluated. If he dresses sloppy and is wearing AirPods, it is very easy to see how a coach can be put off by that. Employers are put off by the same things.

How this is so beyond you is confusing.

No, I’m evaluating them from the second I have the opportunity to start observing them. I hire for a large corporation. I saw a guy running late for an interview speed into a handicap spot because he knew he was late, should I not evaluate him until he sits for the interview or is his behavior before the interview valid for assessing?

college coaches will look for any reason to justify any pre conceived notion they have so no doubt he just got taken off some boards.

It’s a job interview, I have no problem with any of this. Their having a job depends heavily on getting the right players and culture. And if I’m interviewing for a job and someone walks into the lobby dressed like a slob and having headphones of any sort in, I don’t think they’re serious about the opportunity in front of them.

Wish I could get my dad to hang out with your dad. 80 year old pops just wants to stay home and do nothing. While I respect it, I encourage him to get out and go live some. I offer to bring him out, always winds up in me at his house doing chores and shite. :lol:
