jennings is listed as a pro-style quarterback on 247..
shepard was listed as an athlete on some sites...

..says a lot about how much better of a thrower AJ is that RS

dude stop drinking and typing, jennings is the better passer,im starting to question your point you were tryna prove.shepard was a goodqb but this kid has the potential to be a 5 star pocket passer aswell as duel, just wait to the end of next season.its people like you that give LSU fans a bad name.we dont need anymore bad luck at the qb position, every time a black come along somebody wanna sterotype him to somebody career who didnt pan out at the spot, you dont hear nobody comparing rettiq to lee, shepard never competed in the elite 11 where it was all about the accuracy and arm strength

Did he make the actual "elite 11" ?

I can't find anything that says he made it.

But 247 had this on him LINK
quote:

11- Anthony Jennings, Marietta (Ga.), committed to LSU ??Jennings spun the ball as well as any participant and had one great day of work followed by a few other solid, but not spectacular outings. We feel that he showed during those workouts, though, that what you saw on film last season was legitimate. He’s a smooth, accurate passer that is still just scratching the surface of his potential. Though he was the second quarterback taken in LSU’s 2013 class, we don’t feel like he’s necessarily the No. 2 quarterback in terms of projection behind Hayden Rettig. Expect Jennings to move to a four-star rating according to 247Sports in the near future.

Both have great arm strength

This is only true for one of them and it's not Shepard.

Exactly.

Shep was so awesome that they moved him to WR when he got to BR

actually, he ran some plays from QB, never threw one pass.
was tackled (caught in mid air) while in mid air jumping thru a hole, and was PANCAKED to the ground so hard, he didnt get back into the game, and never played another down as QB. Auburn game, I believe.

I've been watching Jennings' highlights and comparing them to Shepard's high school highlights and I cant decided who is the better QB. Both have great arm strength and vision. It does seem like Shepard got happy feet a little more than Jennings. My reason for comparing the two is I hope Jennings isn't our next good high school QB that doesn't pan out at the QB position. Not bashing the kid just making a comparison.

Is this for real? Please post the footage you watched of Shepard which, as stated by you, makes he and Jennings look similar because this footage could be very valuable. Or did you watch footage of Jennings in middle school?

Jennings is probably a better QB, but Shepard had the most impressive high school highlight film I have ever seen. He made the toughest high school competition in the country look like shite.
