Not sure if this matters, but he has functioning braincells - currently majoring in Computer Science, and he was Salutatorian of his HS.

I like smart, big, athletic arse-kicking Linemen.

And semjase is about to enter the zone that contains:
-ipadqueen
-reds on reds on reds
-wolfcola

And a few others who don't deserve the honorable mention

Ouachita Baptist is a good program. Same conference as the team (Harding) that played Ferris St in the D2 National Championship game. That conference has some good players in it and the quality of football is good.

Many of the untapped gems from Arkansas go play in that confernece. OBU and Harding are powers there and many other programs like Arkansas Tech, Southern Arkansas, Arkansas-Monticello, etc all play there, too.

Lots of Texas and LA kids at the schools in the southern half of the state as well. It's very good DII ball. Some of the best in country. A couple NFL players used to come out of those programs every few yrs, but now they are getting sucked into bigger schools in the portal.

I agree, good football played in that conference. Like you said quite a few players in the NFL from those schools considering the size. TE for the Bengals is from S Arkansas. Can’t think of his name off the top of my head.

My son played for Arkansas Tech the last 4 years and just graduated. I got to watch that conference very closely the last 4 years. He has 1 year of eligibility and plays O line. Come get him Lane, lol. He would kill for a GA job at LSU under Kiffin though. He’s 6’1, 6’2 so he doesn’t have the height they look for at D1 level. But he would come as a GA if he could find a way to get his foot in the door.

SAU has produced about 3-4 NFL players in the last 20 yrs, which is pretty stunning for such a small school. It's also in the best recruiting grounds in the state.

20 miles from LA border and 50 miles from east Texas.

Their roster is always filled with kids from Houston, Dallas, Lake Charles, Shreveport, Texarakana, etc, and all those small southern Ark towns that have a lot of talent.
