I do care about UT. I think Kiffin has brought the school, the fan base, the team together and I think it is good.
He has called out FL no doubt. He may take an arse whipping. Who cares. FL has been doing that to us anyway at least since UM arrived. But it showed he believed in his players and I don't think that is bad. Even though the rest of the SEC don't like it.

hopefully Daddy kiffin can coach all aspects of the game cuz I wouldnt put too much faith in Lane's abilities...see NFL Raiders...

I think this is a case where having no track record helped. Sometimes, it's easier to sell potential than proven results.
Unless Kiffin makes a significant improvement over last year, I don't see UT having another class like this. I wouldn't be surprised to see a mass exodus of transfers, actually.

Pete at least knows how to handle the media (although I find his brown-nosing equally distasteful). Lane spouts arrogant, poorly thought out gibberish.

Anyone would have done it as desperate as you UT fans are. Face it, your instate talent is your downfall, not the coaching and you will not be able to top 10 players from all the country as much as you did in the 90s.
