Morrow has not decommitted and told Mullen that he will sign with State come Feb.
Morrow is in Fayetteville on an official visit that he refused to schedule earlier in the year when we invited him to watch several games. To think that he didn't want to watch us play a football game but would prefer to come in and watch the suckfest of Arkansas-Alabama basketball is ludicrous. Something has changed with him.

C.J.'s at MSU right now...will firm up after this weekend. The Dawgs made the right hires to replace the departed coaches and he's seeing that right now...will be an MSU Bulldog.

So he's cancelling his LSU visit next weekend?

Let's just see what Sunday afternoon or Monday brings...

Yea, I agree about CJ. He was supposed to come in this weekend, but canceled early in the week. I would LOVE to have him, but I think he is all MSU. I was talking about Morrow.

Word on Morrow is that he told the Mississippi State staff he is solid with them and is just visiting Arkansas out of courtesy of the coach who has been recruiting.
I have been told he saw the number or WR's that Arkansas has coming back in addition to having 5 WRs already committed and thats why he will be a bulldog.

We don't have five WRs committed. Minor will not qualify and Wade is actually from last years class. That leaves McKinney and Funderburk as the two WRs in this class. Next year we lose three.

According to Arkansas' Scout commitment list
1. Quinta Funderburk
2. Maunel Wade (if he is from last year's class does that mean he wont play this fall? )
3. Keante Minor (kid is a 4* and yall already know he wont qualify?)
4. Davyon McKinney
5. Jervahnte Riles (State recruited this kid he said he committed to Arky b/c they are going to give him a look as a WR so im placing him as a WR)
Riles is the exact same size as Morrow. Also you guys have 3 TE commits as well, and Morrow may eventually grow to a TE. Just doesn't look good for your chances.
State only has 1 WR other than Morrow who is committed.

Funderburk is on campus now and is definitely a WR.
Wade came in last year, went through fall camp and then was told by the NCAA he wasn't eligible.
TONS of rumors that Minor won't qualify and is why he doesn't have more offers. He is awesome and we would LOVE to have him.
Riles may get a look at WR, but he is DB all the way. The only way he plays WR is if one of the other WRs coming in doesn't pan out and gets moved to DB, which equates to the same thing.
That leaves Funderburk and McKinney as the only "for sure" WRs from this class. I hate to say it because I like McKinney, but I would be surprised if he ever saw the field. Of course, I thought the same thing about Greg Childs when we first offered him. I think Wade will come in as a redshirted freshman player since he practiced with the team this past fall. I know that is a technicality, but if you count him as in this class then it means we didn't get but two in last years class. The numbers work out either way and Morrow will definitely see the field.

Nice scoop!! Thanks. Was beginning to think it would be awhile before we'd get anyone from MS.

Most people think that Minor and Riles will never wear Razorback gear. Minor prob wont qualify and I think Riles wont have a spot come signing day.
Funderburk, Wade, and McKinney are the 3 WRs that will likely sign in thi sclass as of now. Morrow would be the 4th if he decides.
ALl three starting WRs will be seniors next year.

Or maybe you could have said this is what you hope happens. The Brassell won't qualify bs didn't come up until he decommitted from state. And you could say Singleton would be a blocker, except for the fact we had 40 more pass attempts than you while you played an extra game. Inform me on the lies that were being told to C.J. also.
After reading this, I don't believe you have any inside connection. Just a subscription to Gene's page

This may be right but, out of experience, this language does not always bode well for the home team. I would be concerned.

Not saying you're wrong, but CJ seemed to be holding that class together and now all MSU's committs and prospects go elsewhere. If this was the case as you say it is, it seems like he would have stayed commited and just waited out the new hire. Now it's going to be him and a bunch of three stars as the MSU class of 2011.

Seems like LSU would be a great place for this young man - a chance to play right away, to be coached by the Chief, to play for a NC, and to be relatively close to home. LSU should be his top choice, and I think he will sign with us.

What's the likelihood this guy ends up at LSU?
There's a thread of Ole Miss/MSU fans arguing about him on the SEC Rant, which I think is funny because I don't think he'll end up at either school.

SunTiger...you could end up correct. I've only found one article on C.J. from this weekend and it seems that he's still undecided...which in my opinion means he wont be at State. I could be wrong, but after being committed for a long time, and MSU putting the full court press on this weekend, he didn't firm up. Instead, talking about taking his other 2 visits and then deciding. So...sounds like TSUN or LSU to me.

CJ didn't recommit on his visit, and when asked if MST was his leader, he flat out said no, definetly not, no. Per tigerbait.

That was his quote I saw on the Spirit. He said it's 50/50 OM vs State, with LSU not out of the picture yet. Sounds like he needs some math classes
