That will all go out the window when Malzahn leaves to takes his head coaching gig of choice. He will be gone before the bowl games, and so will some of AU's offensive recruiting steam.

One of his coaches told some on our staff that Auburn and Oregon are the leaders. He said that LSU is not an option.

Also, I have watched a lot of tape on him and as truthful as I can say.........he is OK! I really don't see the can't miss prospect look about him. He is good but, I have seen better. I think the kid from Belle Chasse is better. JMHO!

I thought about starting a new topic on this but I was hesitant because I know how people are on this site (know-it-alls or skeptics). Tonight I got together with some friends to watch the game. One of the friends is a coach at Thibodaux, although not a football coach. Word is between the coaches is that LSU is actually not an option at this point for Reed, although thats where Lorio is pushing him. I know this is not straight from the kids mouth but close enough, I trust my friend. Of course my next question was well if not LSU, where? That Alabama jacket may be relevant because he is starting to talk about them. The only other school that was supposedly mentioned was actually of all schools, Texas. I don't think he knows what he wants to do but he is gonna play it for all its worth. I am not saying this is concrete but fairly reliable. I don't post much and don't really have much else on the subject. Just thought I would mention.
