Ok, but he was fully committed to LSU up to the 11th hr then took the bigger bag. So, if he were to come here, what makes you think he would finish his collegiate career at LSU? The first time another school comes along with more money, he will jump ship.

That had about 5 defensive starters opt out. He averaged around 4.5 yards per completion and made some terrible decisions. He could have been a tiger but he went after the money. No need to go thru that with him again. There are other targets that will bring better returns.

You are letting the fact that an 18 yo hurt your feelings by choosing another program for a pile of money skew your judgement. The kid is an incredible talent than any school in the country would want if available.

The kid is making 3M per year and flipped at the last minute for that money. He loses the “just a freshman” argument due to that 2 facts. You pull stuff like that you better play with you’re worth it or expect the criticism.

I never said pay him 5million. I said he doesn’t suck as OP suggests. And I’m pretty sure every QB coach in America agrees with me.
His offense and OC didn’t ask him to push the ball down the field. You protect him while he develops. Give him easier completions. He’s a 18 yo freshman starting in the Big Ten. What is wrong with you people? You expect everyone to be senior level Joe Burrow.

Me wanting a different QB from the portal has ZERO to do with Underwood picking Michigan over LSU. And I think he's not good because he's not good. I watched him play multiple times this year and he's over rated.
