sounds like crying wolf to me...3 years in a row Miles has said "this is the best O-Line I have seen at LSU"....where is the run game..will see it when I believe it...JJ has not been an accurate passer....not sure that changes even if run game is better

Dude, with respect, 61.5% passing with 17 TD's and only 7 INT's is pretty damn good for a first year starter. Especially with no run game.

Those stats are proof that some can be very deceptive and not tell the entire story...

an example of that would be that his obscene sack rate boosted his completion %.

79.742% of all statistics are made up. Fact.

If he could hand the ball off and have it work for a change he wouldn't have to worry about getting sacked.

Hopefully he will be Miles' next big gamble as starting true freshman QB
Could it be that Miles has promised him the starting job if he comes to LSU?

This...we don't need to throw ZL to the wolves and damage him mentally like JL went through...
You're not going to get a Freshman savior at QB, it almost never happens, especially in SEC ball...

Exactly! I'm not sure we'll ever be able to quantify the damage done to the program by that worthless fricking criminal Perilloux.
Should of stayed with Colt McCoy.

. If he REALLY wants to play football at LSU, all he has to do is sign with the Dodgers and take the money, retire 3 years later and walk-on at LSU as a millionaire (assuming he spent the money wisely) This will go all the way to the deadline, and he accepts the money the Dodgers offer him. Book it.
I know Dro posted this a month ago, but it needs to be said.
If he enrolled full time for this summer term, which is a mere 6 hours for summer, then his 5 year clock had begun.
And for a division 1 program, it's a running clock. Which means if he signs, plays 3 years of pro ball, then returns, that he will have lost those 3 years of eligibility because he enrolled full time

Kid is gonna come, he would'nt do that to the program. Too good of a kid

Well I wouldn't consider it something he did to the program. Rather something he did to himself
he would be hurting himself alot IF baseball didn't work out. He would be hurting LSU football very little either way

I think it's been confirmed that he is only taking 1 class...

had to bump this post to get this linked:

its good to see someone writing about LSU's quarterback situation using humor!

So now, it all falls to Zach Lee. The Two-Sport Savior. The Sultan of Strikeouts. The King of Touchdowning. The Messiah of Multi-Sport Athletes. The Thor of Tiger Town. The Beowulf of Baseball. The Romulus of Record Books. The Odysseus of Owning Fools. The Wizard of Winning. The Gilgamesh of Going All The Way. The Bilbo Baggins of BCS Championships.
Most have given up on Jefferson and J. Lee (fairly or not). They want a real quarterback, and Zach is the newest thing that excites them. He is the iPhone 4 to the functional but less attractive Nokia 1006 that are Jefferson and J. Lee.
