How badly does this affect their offense, specifically the 2 missing tailbacks? (I know nothing about their depth chart, are these starter?)
That's their top 2 returning TB in terms of yardage. They combined for 1000 of the 1500 yards UNC ran for last year.

Don't forget LSU has 4 starters out for injury.

A fan posted this under the article!!
They're obviously trying to make their people think that there was no academic dishonesty!!!

Could care less. a win is a win is a win! Shouldn't have cheated.

their 3rd string RB is a senior though. Seems like they have decent depth at all the positions that are going to be out. But the biggest stat to me is missing 3 safeties and 2 starting CBs. I know LSU will prob just try to run the ball the whole game, but they can def take advantage of that secondary.

Link from a local paper...
Says an additional three starters have not made the trip but could end up playing.
"The University is also trying to establish eligibility for three other defensive starters: Quan Sturdivant, Bruce Carter and Deunta Williams They were not on the team bus Friday morning."

From the OP link:
One thing to use a tutor. It's another to have them do your homework.

So add two starting linebackers and the other starting safety out. So a total of 4 safeties out for them.
Posted on 9/3/10 at 9:15 am to josh336
So a total of 8 starters on defense out and 3 on offense. If the 15 total comes to past. If that happens and LSU doesn't win this game, they might as well fire Miles on the spot.

Should throw every down saturday night. Three 5 star receivers against second teamers and third teamers.

It must suck.
Good luck with the rest of the season...

Seeing as how we couldn't blow out the worst of teams last year, i wouldn't be upset with a 14 point victory
