One of my best sporting event memories. Was at that game as a student. Looking back at the video I do not even remember how things looked so long ago....damn I got old.
I remember my buddy yelling "If we win we will be on the cover of SI!" Sure enough I bought a copy the following week at the Union. Had it framed and still have it.
Faulk on the cover and it says "Later, Gator"

I was there as well. Muggy, humid, but the magic was BACK!

Every time I see that film I marvel at Alan Faneca crawling up the arse of every defender on the field and pitching a tent.

One of greatest memories. I wasn't at the game though. I was bowhunting with my pops listening to Hawthorne on a busted arse radio in the middle of a Concordia Parish Swamp.

I would not change one second of that night.

Man, I really enjoyed watching that...brings backs some awesome memories!

really nice to think back on the folks that were on the field that night...Herb Tyler, Alan Faneca, Cedric Donaldson...and the great Tommy Banks!

What a great video and a special night. There were extremely few tickets being sold outside for that one. It was jam-packed and electric from before it even started until well after it was over. I loved seeing the Chinese Bandit package run unto the field on 3rd downs and the crowd going nuts.

My favorite game to have attended in person. I was with my late father to make it even better! Coming back to central Florida after that and tasting the sweet tears of the Gator fans around here was magnificent.
