There's not as much emphasis to win every single year in the Big 12. Not as much focus on ONE program like many SEC states have on their colleges. He's only won one Big 12 title since he's been there if I my memory serves me correct. Miles has already won an SEC crown and a national crown in his short tenure and there's idiots that want him fired. Look what happened to Tubberville and Fulmer. Plus, like the other guy said......when he speaks he sounds like a politician. People don't want to hear that crap in the SEC.

There are idiots at every school that want the coach fired. This doesn't mean anything.
I don't think the comparisons to Tubs and Fulmer are valid at all. A better comparison, based on consistency of winning, would probably be Richt, and I don't think he is going anywhere anytime soon.
And as far as him sounding like a politician, I don't hear that at all. He always seems very sincere and an all-around likeable guy. He actually reminds me a lot of Miles in many ways.

Les didn't have to look good. He knows what he's doing the season is in control. We have looked good. We have looked in control. Just because we only win by two scores there is still the feeling that if Vandy or UW would have scored we would have no problem answering. You have no rights. honestly people. think back for a second where we were at just one year ago. we were 3-0. we thought we were the shite. we thought we looked "good" because we beat the shite out of some piss-poor teams and we were throwing all we had at them. we then went on to implode and have a bust season. we got a reality check last season. were not gods, were a football team. fast forward to this season. here we are again 3-0. we know what our problems are. we are working to fix them while we still have a chance instead of hiding them with what we dont have problems with. give this team a chance to hit their stride. we dont know what this team is capable of yet, and maybe they dont either. we have crawled. now let us walk so that then we can soon run.
