just saying, you were definitely wrong.
Today, in your office, Alabama wins over LSU

With Bammers these day the only thing I say to them is something to the effect of: "it sure must be painful to know that you are the second best team in your own state" or "lil brother is sittin in big brothers chair and big brother cant do anything about it". Usually they just mumble and walk away. The fear of what Auburn probrably is gonna do silences them.

They probably didn't understand. Happens a lot with Alabama folks!
They didn't understand because it doesn't make sense. The fact that you think you understand and imply they don't because they're somewhat inferior makes you look very, very stupid

If it happens a couple of times, it's luck. Once you do it as much as Les has, it's just the way you are. How many people were calling him unlucky after Ole Miss last year? It's NOT all luck...
I wonder if Miles is part Irish? This would happen all the time for Notre Dame during the Lou Holtz era.

Tell the gumps their coach will be taking the Dallas HC job and watch their whole demeanor change.
Wait for such responses as "He hated the NFL" "Hes at home" "He already get alot of money" "UA can and will match Jerry"
Your response .......Laugh in their face.
The'll be so agitated they will have to lay off relations with family members for at least 2 whole days

I've had folks tell me that as well. I just look at them, and say "Yep, it's a wonderful thing. Now back in traffic!"
OR
"Les makes his luck by believing in his players."

I just tell them that Les Miles has nude photos of God.

easy, luck is both good and bad. overall, it evens out. opponents like to point out what they think is your good fortune and ignore your ill fortune. the notion that miles and lsu only have good luck is ridiculous, whoever is espousing it. but our opponents will not listen to that nor will some lsu fans. i say ignore them. they are really saying we are better than you and hedging that with if you win, it will only be because of luck. or, you can just....

And I know many LSU fans think Auburn's just as damn lucky to have Cam Newton fall into their laps...what would they be without him?....

Miles is the luckiest D-1 coach

Say you pig-farmers are absoulutely right. LSU is damn lucky to have the number one defense, number one kick returner and number one special teams unit in the SEC.

yes it was extremly lucky for Les Miles to have Nick Saban take the Alabama job just 2 years after Miles took over from Saban at LSU.
