Buddy- Canada was the OC last year and had NFL running backs to work with. This offense has next to nothing the NFL wants .
buddy. Ol Ensminger was the OC to finish 2016. Etling did just fine. We had a crap OL then too and LF was crippled up if you need reminded

Is this getting embarrassing yet?

I swear LSU fans think going to the sugar bowl= national championship game

I know. The non playoff bowl games have become completely meaningless and mink expected outside of the fan bases in them give a shite.

And in a lot of them at least one of the fnsbases is fairly apathetic

The playoff has killed the bowl games and but for stupid tradition we should just get to of them.

Have you seen the amount of time he has before getting pushed out of the pocket or sacked? That happens every play, even against weak d-lines. He knows that he is either going to be hit, or is about to be hit on every play.

If he was able to be comfortable in the pocket, and had time to throw, then we would be able to decide if he sucks or not. He hasn't had that all season, and Ensminger hasn't done anything to adjust the playcalling around the sickeningly outmatched o-line. We can't run up the middle, and we don't have time to pass, yet the same plays are called time and time again

10-2 with a sugar bowl bid would’ve far exceeded 90% of LSU fans expectations before this season started

True but you have to also acknowledge that expectations change as the season progresses.

People that don't know football look at stats and draw conclusions.

Nothing new here

What do you call light years? At this point in 2016 he had... 7 TDS.

With the fastest WR in the 2018 draft to throw underthrown deep balls to, and a decent enough offensive like to let him get deep.

Yep but army and air force don't play in the SEC nnor does GT

Ok well look at SEC passing TDs.

LSU is dead last and the only other team not in double digits is Kentucky with 9.

So the next to last team in the SEC has 1.5 times as many TD passes as LSU.

Alabama dominated our lines.

Not every team has

Every QB in the country sans a couple has had protection issues, drops and other problems. Yet stack ranked against all of them he is in the way bottom in every category. That isn’t a fluke after 9 games

Then add in the fact that other LSU QBs have had similar issues and if you go back to our OL complaints last year you will see it. Hell we blasted Miles all last year over his paper thin shite OL roster he left behind. Remember the injuries.

Thru all of that Etling produced better.

Etling was blasted on here. Burriw is defended. It is baffling how he was ordained

What based on a handoff that Brosette broke for a long TD?

The one where the announcers said he audibled into a run? Do we even know if that is true.

I see what you are trying to do here, but LSU still has no business being so far behind in TD passes.

And then to think, LSU signed the #1 rated wr group this past year.

Didn't even see Chase get 1 target, I could be wrong. I don't even remember.

Agreed I do not understand why Chase and Marshall do not play every snap, and get more targets. 2 outstanding athletes

after 9 games he had 9. And he did give up a few reps to Brennan and he had 1

And he had half the interceptions

Pretty damn significant.

Every QB in the country doesn't play our schedule. And, we have barely been able to run or throw the ball all season.

This o-line is much worse than last year's, and it is most definitely affecting QB play, yet no adjustments are made. Burrow just keeps getting hit or chased on every play

How many rushing TDs

19

The offense is averaging 27 points per game.

Scores in the red zone 88%

TDs in the red zone between 35 and 40%

170 yards rushing per game

192 yards passing per game.

The offense isn't atrocious. They're not world beaters but I don't think anybody thought that they would be. Not very many people thought that LSU would be competitive in the SEC this year so they've actually exceeded expectations.
