Did LSU copy this playbook?

Saw a lot to be excited about.

This guy has not played any significant snaps so far at LSU.... let me see him QB a whole game and then we will be able to have an idea where he may be headed.... BTW. It’s ALL about wins and losses. Not stats.

This is his dream. Even if he has a good year, unless he wins a NC he will be back because he saw the difference in Joe the second year starting. With Chase, Marshall and McMath, add Gilbert, man that's the best 4 in the country. Solid backfield, great defense, could be a magic year. Didn't realize McMath was 6'2" and 221, and fast. Does anyone have the 40 times for the receivers?

One year really, because if he has any type of decent season in 2020, he's going to the NFL. And if he has a bad year, then he's not going to break any records in his second year.

Bingo. Johnson would be starting in 21 if Brennan fails in his first season.

Yes. Their 40 times are as follows: Can score from anywhere, on any given play. That's how fast they are.

I disagree. We have no backup QB. I think that LSU will be as you say in competitive situations, but anytime they have the game salted away, or are playing a weak team, I think you'll see heavy run to protect Brennan.

The season/number of games is in doubt.
If we play all games, I believe Brennan will play both the first two games in their entirety. If he performs well vs Texas, I believe the 2nd QB will get some playing time, late in the rest of the games, if we have a big lead..

2015: Passed for 5,248 yards, 53 TDs: 8 Ints in 15 games as a junior

2014: 409-of-582 passes for 5,797 yards and 64 TDs: 14 Ints as a soph

188 TDs in 3 yrs (63 per year - Joe had 60)
25 Ints in 3 yrs - Aver 8 per year — 3 as a SR

Joe had 60 TDs with 6 picks
Myles averaged 63 TDs with 8 picks

Dumb comparison and according to your post, Myles averaged 55 TDs, not 63.

Gain experience! Are you nukkin Futz!

He’s got three solid years competing—
Almost beat out Etling in 2017! On a 460 snap competition almost beat out Joe!

He’s got over 600 career yards passing in mostly mop up — But showed poise and three dimes in a 9-Play 75 yard masterpiece drive that broke Oklahoma’s back after they caused a fumble and stopped Joe and scored a quick seven — PLAYOFF GAME TESTED

99+ QB Rating was higher than Joe for the OK game — Anyone know this ???????

I mean, I get your premise, and don’t disagree with it, but don’t come throwing numbers if you don’t know how to add.

48+53+64 =/= 188.

Yeah, this comparison is wrong. Myles averaged 56. Very impressive, still. But not 63.

Still watching SSC?

Hopefully my boy can take some snaps under center in the next few years. He’s going into 8th, and I sure hope they play ball this fall.

He’ll play wherever they put him. Hopefully he can get most of the kicking duties early, guess it just depends. He was dead set on being a kicker, and he’s exceptional at it, until he played QB last year. Now it’s all about spinning it the other way.

I hear the varsity is going to be a running team this year.

One idiot at a time this morning!
Ducky gets the first torpedo

mas·ter·piece
noun
a work of outstanding skill or workmanship

Did you pass 8th grade Ducky?

Myles Brennan got a perfect 99.9 rating in that game — Same as in the aTm game

100% completions — Flawless performance

LSU OK replay is on at 11AM today! Watch Myles masterpiece — QB rating 99.9

Holy shite, you're a moron.

Let me reply — Broski your insults show you just don’t follow LSU FB closely enough and really don’t know what you’re talking about. Calling me a moron doesn’t help you here pal

Eat all the Crow Broski — Gobble it Baw

Burrow vs Brennan Battle was a RAZOR THIN win for Joe

Here’s your head coach speaking Broski

"I talked to both quarterbacks this morning," said Orgeron, who discussed the quarterback battle for several minutes at his press conference without revealing the winning number. "It was a very, very tight race. Let me say this to you, both quarterbacks are ready to go in the game."

"We made the decision this morning after the final grades were in," Orgeron said. "We measured the reps (practice repetitions). One quarterback had 428 reps. And the other one had 427."

Probably not, but Orgeron did continue to say how razor-thin the difference between Burrow and Brennan, a backup last season to senior Danny Etling, was.

"It was a very close decision," he said. "In fact, it seesawed back and forth all last week. Grades were very close. Either quarterback could've won out.

Talk to me Broski — Who’s the moron?

As for the Myles Brennan 99.9 ratings vs OK and aTm go read a stat sheet

There are Youtube video of all Brennan plays. His
play vs Syracuse as a true freshman is there. True freshman hits Sullivan in the hands on a sure TD and he didn't make the catch. He was playing behind an almost non existent OL.
Last Fall, while playing in one of the early games, the announcer mentioned, Orgeron had said Brennan had made more progress in the off season than any other player.
His 2019 highlights indicated that he can make all the throws, on time, with accuracy.
We don't know if he has the decision making capability of Burrow, but he appeared to have a strong arm and quicker release.

Yeah Buddy!

All 6 throws — 70 yard bomb we haven’t seen in ages in Death Valley

He’s now about where Joe was midseason 2019 with his reads and decisions.

He needs that Big Game Test. I’ve watched him deliver in every big playoff game (Qtr Finals & State Championship). I’ve watched him lose ONE close game when he had too few good receivers and OL issues.

He will execute at a very high level — Mark This! His 99.9 ratings in his last two games tell me that he had the decision making potential to pass Burrow. He’s certainly a better athlete than Joe:
• Half a step faster than Joe at 4.7
• Better Velocity but not trigger time
• Best low bullet in all of CFB
• Has all 6 passes (Joe had 5)

The squirrels around here talk toughness and attitude and think Myles won’t deliver — I’ve seen this kid take beatings and come back.

Only a shortened season stops Myles from making a run to match or beat Joe’s stats.

Ok. You are saying that Myles is a better QB than Borrow????? Is that what you are really saying?????

Well let’s see... Burrow= two full seasons as the starting QB. 2018 was decent at best.

2019 was a coronation of one of the best QBS to ever play the college game. LSU won the N.C. last year but not just because of his stats..... It was his instincts to make the right play at the right time........

I have yet to see Myles face any conditions like that while playing the whole game....

You are simple to figure out. A pesky little wanna be fan that craves attention....

Oh BTW making Myles look better than A legend like Joe is not working out well for you........
