I can't think of any. I remember there was supposedly this stud linebacker, Maconathy (sp). He was either from W. Monroe or Evangel, top LA prospect, signed by Saban.
After spring training, he wasn't the starter on the depth chart, and his dad went to the newspaper and was bitching about it, and Saban. Dude transferred to Texas A&M before the season started, and never did anything. Never heard of him again, don't think he ever started at A&M. One thing about Saban, he didn't put up with the interfering parent crap.

He was mine too. Until fan day '97. I stood in line for like an hour and a half and at the moment my friend and I reached out to hand him a paper to autograph, he called it quits and left us stranded. Couldn't stand the guy from there on after.

Hester along with Chase Pittman (was at Texas first).

Oh and btw, wasn't there a guy named Andrew Cantalone (sp) that played at some HS in Shreveport?

May be more, but I can't think of any.
Pretty sure the Booty's returned to Evangel and ruined any chances of LSU doing much recruiting from that school. They have a lotta stroke at that school.

You can probably get that autograph now if you find out what bank he works at.

I've always wanted to get Josh's mug shot after his DWI tazing, signed by him. Gotta be worth something one day.

this has to be the absolute worst historical thread I've ever read
Lets see...
#88, Herb Tyler who was WR at LSU while Abram was the QB, while both being coached by Curley Hallman upset Danny Weurfel and the Florida Gators in '97. After the game Abram gets hurt by the falling goal posts in which the injury causes him to leave LSU.
nice

I don't know him but he would probably beat you down for that.

Evangel players are a joke. It was the system that was good. I dont think there has ever been an Evangel player that lived up to his hype.

Nah, but it's been plenty. They always turn out a lineman or two a year. Brock Berlin signed with UF, then transferred to Miami. If I had to guess, I would say 15-20
