The only day the value of a house matters is the day you sell it. The rest of the time, you just pay your mortgage to the lender and live your life. People bailing out of homes they’ve had for just a few years because they’ve declined a bit are fools.

I’m sitting in my beach house at St Augustine Beach as I type. I bought my small place during the Great Recession. It was a dump that I’ve slowly renovated. It’s still our vacation home. We’re close to retiring and maybe moving here full time and selling the house outside of Orlando.
I associate Ormond with the greater Daytona Beach area. That entire area has drastically improved in the last twenty or so years. It used to be kind of run down but it’s booming now. I’d say any place between Daytona and Ponta Verda Beach on the upper east coast of Florida is really good.
No matter where you go, the lifestyle in coastal Florida is fantastic. Just don’t be a Democrat if you move here. They’re not welcome.

In the world of Probation and Parole, we use it for Violation Hearings. I get to log on from my office and testify rather than going to the a courthouse which is fine for me. Aside from that it sucks.
Gowdy is by no means qualified to be AG. He was an AUSA and then a congressman. He talked a big talk but achieved nothing. He has zero executive level experience and is proven to be quite the RINO.

The FBI crime lab isn’t nearly as good as people are led to believe. They’ve even lost accreditation before. There are many other crime labs that are as good or much better out there.
Let’s not forget that the FBI has been a shite show for a number of years. I sure the crime lab isn’t nearly no exception.

I had one on my IROC back in the day. That car was awesome. It had the 5.7 with T Tops. Sadly it was totaled thanks to a jackass making an illegal left turn on Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.
I have a good friend who is Puerto Rican. He has served in the Army as a Captain and been a Law Enforcement Officer. He considers himself a Puerto Rican with Spain as his heritage. He would prefer statehood but realizes they would be fools to vote for their islands to have to pay federal income taxes.
It’s a complicated issue.
