You will see what a legitimate on campus stadium is. You will see what real tailgating and passion is as well.

What? I couldn't understand you.
Try removing OJ's penis from your mouth and saying it again.

we didnt get here until tonight.
If you're up here tomorrow night, former LSU Coach Paul Dietzel will be speaking in the Cox Center for Student Athletes on top of Victory Hill at 7...if you're a football fan, this should be a very interesting presentation.
It's free, by the way...and you'll get to see the incredible facility, the auditorium is amazing...

I plan on getting a Tigers shirt to wear
Don't wear an LSU T-shirt...everyone will think you're just another LSU fan and will not invite you to their tailgate. Wear your schools colors and tell people what you are here for and they'll welcome you with open arms.

If you can find our tailgate at the corner of South Stadium Rd and Forestry Dr. , then you are welcome to stop by and have a few beers. We will have a TV to watch the network broadcast games in the morning.
Of course there are plenty of TVs around us that have satelite so you may want to stoll around the area and catch a Pac-10 game.

Im sorry people but Ive been attending LSU games since 1965,not once have I EVER been offered the first crumb of food . It had to be said, it may happen from time to time , but people make it sound like you cant get to the stadium without people handing you out food. It is a myth
You're an LSU fan and people just assume that you have your own tailgate. When I first got my season tickets about 10 years ago, I was living in Southern California. I would fly in for all of the home games and there were several times we would just be wondering around and meet people. After striking up a conversation and telling them that we just flew in from CA, they would welcome us with open arms and offer us food and beer because we could not bring our own tailgate to the game. If you're nice, you can find people who will share...but if you are wearing the opposing teams colors, most people want you to say after the game that you had the best time ever...

DO NOT wear any "USC" gear! I say this because you sound like a nice guy.

I ended up tailgating with these guys. They were awesome, laid back, funny guys.
We plyed them with food and drink by the Indian Mounds right by the hill down the stadium (our normal spot) and made sure they had a good time.
Apparently a mutual aquaintance they knew in Tuscaloosa directed them to a tailgate I am associated with. They were wearing their USC hats/UCLA hats and having a great time, it seemed.
Anyhow, I hope they get back to us on their game day experience, wood-shed arse beatdown, aside...
