BTW, if you have never been to the SEC baseball tournament, I would encourage you to attend just once- it will give you a much better feeling of fans from all across the SEC. It is a great event and brings our fanbases together- always a great time.
I have been to several tournament games because I live here in Northport, however I have never been to a tournament game against Alabama. But like I said, living here, 90% of my freinds are Bama fans, so I know they all aren't bad, but they do all feel they are a little higher on the totem poll than everyone else. I'll be at "The Joe" supporting my Tigers today!!

IMO there just a little higher on the totem pole then child molesters and murderers. Just a tad, though.

most of them were ok. they were all complaining about how many LSU fans were there and how loud we were though....
its not our fault you cant sell tickets and we bought them all. its also not our fault your fans are so quiet that we dominate and make it feel like a LSU home game.

Fans were much better today.
Its sad though that Alabama has to answer LSU's cheers with chimed in band music and cheers. They have a good team and deserve more fan support.

I went to the LSU Alabama Super Regional and was told to leave the stands with my gf i was 17 at the time because I clapped my hands and said come on tigers. Apparently the old people behind me waved the cops to come over and tell me to move even though I have the two tickets. I'm also reminded of the year when Alabama hit a SF with one out to tie the game but the runner left early and the Alabama fans throw drinks and food as the umpires left the field. I have never seen a group of umpires leave the Box in the same way. Just for thought.

LSU pipes in band music at the Box after a run scores or a homerun is hit. They also pipe in the 1st down "Geaux Tigers!" cheer sometimes during our at bat. Don't bash Bama for doing something LSU does.

I was reminded tonight why Alabama fans are the cockiest pricks in the country for many reasons. But one example was a guy telling an elderly lady to shut up for doing the Geaux Tigers cheer. Not to mention nobody in the stands knew anything about baseball.
man you got assholes everywhere. I never been to a basball game at bama, but I been there for football and was treated good.

My wife and I went to the Friday night game and we really enjoyed it. The Alabama fans around us in section EE were very cool. The Friday night fireworks were an added treat. Tidetradition12, thanks for the tip on Dreamlands. The ribs were good and the atmosphere was great. My wife didn't care for the sauce on the ribs but I liked it.
I loved the menu:
Rib sandwich
Rib plate
Slab of Ribs
Smoked sausage
Domestic Beer
Imported Beer
Section EE is on the 1st base side and we could hear Chris Guillot clear across the field. He was on the 3rd base side next to left field.

Don't think there is much difference between LSU fans and Bama fans. You have your good and your bad, you have your idiots and elitist, look at this website for example. We have those who actually know about LSU sports/athletics and those who think they know.
I can say 2 years ago at LSU/Bama football game those fans I sat around were pretty nice. Outside of harmless chatter that is to be expected.

were you at the games this weekend? I'm guessing not. they played music just to drown out our fans chanting several times.

By the end of the game there were no Bama fans left.

"...i am always treated well while in BR....."
Thanks!! Glad to hear that and I hope it continues.
As said already, all fans bases have their jerks and personally, I think we pay them way too much attention.
I have to say one thing bout you Bama guys, I can't believe the way ya'll support you football...almost 200,000 at your last 2 spring games!!!
It was a good baseball series...good luck the rest of the way.

I was sitting about 3 rows behind the guy and several people other than me heard it. I dont really care whether you believe me or not.

The worst Bama fans that I have come across are the ones on message boards. All the ones I have met in real life have been nice people. Last year for the football game I sat by several because my season tickets are right above the visitors section. There were little to no problems between the fanbases, a lot of legitimate football talk, and handshakes and well wishes after the game, from both sides. Now the Ole Miss game on the other hand....
Thats where i was sitting, and everyone around me was courteous, respectful, and good to talk football with.
