You may not like Verne, but he had one of the best lines about SEC football I ever heard.
After we beat Auburn in '08, he made a comment about the game being "a fist fight in a road ditch".
I think that one describes an SEC game pretty good!

after watching the CBS replay last night i noticed that both of them screw up a lot during the broadcast. They call players the wrong names all the time - sometimes even calling LSU players names of Bama players and vice versa. I dont know if they get so caught up in the action or what. that fact that Verne is a bumbling idiot makes Danielson look that much better. He's tolerable but Verne makes him look like a pro by comparison. Verve continues to look more troll-like every week

Yeah--it would indeed be nice if there actually were an expiration date on racism and ignorance.

You have to have a professional with a color former athlete. Verne's job is to get the facts out there. GD's job is to tell how it's gonna happen or happened. They both seem to really jump on who ever is leading bandwagon. If Alabama would have won Saban would have been anointed, excuse me, more anointed. Close game's like Saturday there pretty fair. And yes they do frick up from time to time.
