72 LSU 17-16 is one of the great ones. I was there and tore my brother's jacket off jumping up and down yelling at the end. Moments earlier the Ole Miss fans were celebrating thinking they had won.

The national championship games in '03 and '07 for sure but an out of conference game that I never get tired of watching is the annihilation of Virginia Tech in '07.

That was a beatdown of epic proportions. I wish I could've been at that game. I was still in Florida at the time.

My dad was there and told me it was absolutely incredible.

Auburn 2001 when we beat them to win the west and stormed the field.
Also Georgia 2003 was awesome

On the other hand, most miserable was Florida 2003. Lost 19-7 and it was 105 degrees

Not necessarily the greatest games, but the ones that really meant something to you. There have been many through the years. Herb Tyler beating Florida for example. That was awesome.

I also vividly remember the Vandy game the week before in Nashville. The craziness started with the Vandy band coming over and playing our fought song.

Then, the crack heard round the world. Late hit cheap shot on Cecil the Diesel Collins, broken femur. Blocked extra point to win the game, a week before the juggernaut came to BR.

Keiland Williams jumping over that guy is the most memorable. That game was fun.

Ahh Florida 03 we should've won that damn game we had a punt return and a big pass to Clayton both called back. Seemed like everytime we made it across midfield we started having penalties and shooting ourselves in the foot. Plus how many times did they read that middle dog delay blitz perfectly by throwing a little L route to Fason out of the backfield? Just one of those games. That was leaks first start of his career. Great season for us though.

I'm an old timer, I guess. I've got two. 1971 against Notre Dame on ABC TV. In those days it was really big to be on national TV. Mostly me and my dad listened to John Furgeson on the radio. He was great. Bert Jones to Andy Hamilton. Tommy Casinova picking off passes. LSU 28-8. I was 10 years old. I'll never forget it. Got to meet Bert last year. Awesome moment. Then 1982 against Florida State. Penalties on the crowd for throwing oranges. Fog rolling in. Winner to Orange Bowl in a game I went to and we should have beaten a great Nebraska team. Those I'll can never forget. Wish I'd been at the auburn 1988 game. What's yours?

You and I must be around the same age. I remember these well. The rain of oranges was unbelievable in the student section.

I'd add the 1979 USC game to the list. I've been to many games since my time as a student, but I have never heard it louder than at that game.

The 1971 ND game was my 1st LSU game experience. I was an 11 year old kid living in Michigan and watched it on tv. The crowd was crazy and lsu destroyed the hated ND Irish. I told myself that night that I wanted to go there to watch a game. Been an lsu fan ever since. ........ But my favorite game was the 1982 Florida game. Dalton as a freshman ran all over them that day. It paved the way for a magical season.

Still remember listening to this one on the patio with my brothers and my Dad. As exciting as the Earthquake Game.

I always try to pump up LSU - UT '00 so I'm glad it seems to have found its place amongst the great TS games. Ro's performance was nothing short of mythical. Everyone points to UGA '03 as the coming of age but I think the 91k in the newly expanded stadium that night knew what was to come.

2003 vs Georgia. Flew to New Orleans from Hawaii and drove to Baton Rouge. Great memories.
2004 vs Florida
2005 vs Auburn.
2007 vs Auburn.
2007 vs Florida.
2008 vs Bama. I cried tears of joy when that field goal was blocked. Wish we could have pulled out the W
2010 vs Alabama. Final game I got to go to with my dad before he died. That was also my first year with season tickets as a Junior in college. (given to me by my uncle).

Was there. Got some grass off the field. Walked to highland only to find out my car was towed off. My phone was dead and I was by myself two hours away from home... Totally worth it.

Never understood who can have a loss albeit in a great game, as one of the favorite moments. We have many, many great wins...in any case agree with most of the wins and was fortunate to at most of them, one of best games not mentioned (and IMHO one of the best I ever saw) was 27-26 win vs Aizona in 1984. Bill A first year and we were 1-0-1 (tied uf at uf after being by wind 14-0). This game had a bit of everything, Dalton and Wick and ET were they're typical self and defense rose up as Arizona had 4-10 around the 35 and M brooks stopped QB on great scramble. Kicker for Arizona was one of Max Zendajaus (best family of college NFL kickers ever?)and had a GREAT leg so 52 would have won it, but crowd was so loud they confused wildcats and missed chance to win.
