was anybody watching on tv? there was a guy sitting right behind home plate who kept doing a bunch of hand signals? what was that about?

He sits behind home plate and usually is by himself. I can't stand it. People like him and the K lady that think they are what makes LSU basball great drive me crazy.

I happen to know of the guy (won't put his name here), and he's a great person. Took a good friend of mine's father to the CWS in 1996 right before he passed away from cancer. One helluva guy with a ton of character, something you obviously don't have.

If I was listening to a game on the radio, and I didn't hear "Baaaalllll 44444", I'd think something was missing.
Also, I always thought it was Chris Guillot that did that until reading on here recently that it was a different guy.

That guy has been there forever. If it was a first time guy then it would be annoying.LSU has been successful with him. I wonder if it psets opposing pitcher. If so let him be. That would be a superstition I guess as I think it is ok for him to do the Ball 4 thing.

if it's annoying to you, imagine how annoying it is to the pitchers. with that said, i wish he was louder.

True fans would not let this bother them. I think the baseball fans need to get more lively but nothing is more boring than the basketball fans.
