more talent, much better QB, better offense by far, will finish higher as well. defense might be a push.

Fail as usual. JJ had better stats than the USC QB, our defense was much better last year and is looked as being improved, and our special teams is among the best in the country.

yes, JJ who had been in his systen for two years at that time is a better QB than barkley.

Why don't you go ahead and ask the tiger faithful who'd they rather have at the helm?

I wondered if you'd bite.

USING the stats from Rivals, so they would all be in the same format:

QB's:

JJ vs. MB: JJ has a higher QB rating 137.2 to 131.3 for MB, a higher completion percentage, 61.5% to 59.9%, and threw half the interceptions that MB threw, 7 to 14.

JJ wins. So
quote:

much better QB
= FAIL.

Offense:

LSU 25.5 PPG, USC 26.7 for a "massive" 1.2 PPG difference. Impressive. Except not.

So
quote:

better offense by far
= FAIL. Again.

Defense:

LSU 16.0 PPG, USC 20.4 PPG. LSU 326.6 YPG, USC 342.8. LSU 13 INT, USC 11.

LSU wins.

So
quote:

defense might be a push
= FAIL, yet again.

Want more?
quote:

more talent
USC has the depth of a piece of tissue paper.
quote:

will finish higher as well
It will be interesting to see if USC can finish the season, or if they run out of players first.

Once again, nothing but FAIL.

Are we done here, or do you need more schooling?

watching them lose 3 games this year is going to be pretty fun

Most likely not 3, but they will certainly lose

I'm not talking about last year, genius.

The AP poll is for the upcoming season.

To use your own words:

Neither am I SFB. You are saying a team that was weaker than LSU in defense, special teams, and a virtual push on offense is somehow magically going to be better than the Tigers. And that a QB who had more INT's than TD's was better than ours. No sale.

We've established that LSU was a better overall team last year. And did it against a much tougher schedule to boot.

This year will just be more of the same.

I have already said yoo are right. JJ is better and most of not all of the Tiger faithful wouldd take JJ in a heartbeat over Barkley to lead their team.

As for who will finish higher, watch how it plays out.
