We recruited Hollan under the last staff and this one. He was signed with maybe TCU out of high school before going the JUCO route. The talent was there. Hobbs is a good pitching coach too. Very highly thought of in the industry and pretty much singlehandedly brought the pitching lab concept to college baseball when he was at Wake Forest.

ETA: Hollan was committed to A&M under Childress. Then committed to TCU out of JUCO but flipped to Arkansas.
