Clearly NIGHTHAWK is a military guy. Have you ever met a brand new officer out of college? It ain't a compliment.

That's why we should be nice to NIGHTHAWK...no matter how difficult it is. Methinks he's a service member.

If so... for your service.

There's easier ways to do it. But maybe you're more of a leap before you look type.

been pissed off about this season. missed last years completely due to work. i dont like my tigers being 13th. we are at best top 10. and to me thats a little far. theres too much history here and the fans ( like me ) man we just expect more. and now that im home man i just want a good season. we make it to the tourney fine. i hope paul isnt just hoping to get just there with what we have. i sometimes feel that way.

you guys are brutal to new guys on the rant. its cool. i get it...im a cherry lil...furk.

You could say the same for Arkansas. LSU has one bad loss. I won't use the food posioning excuse though. Arkansas has two bad losses. Also 2 of lsu's 3 losses were by a struggling Sunday starter who has been replaced by an apparent stud. To early to say for sure though.

You didn't even know Nola was the Sunday starter. Go actually follow the team then have an opinion. That's my advice at least.

it's not this, it's just that people are pissed about being 14-3 when conference play hasn't even started

It is also probably mentioned 15 times on the radio broadcast of the games as well. That's a pretty logical way to follow the team, I would think.

I'm worried about Friday.

DJ Baxendale is a stud, and if iirc, he shut us out last year, but I'm not sure how he's done this season. Gausman has gotten hit hard a couple times, and whoever scores 2-3, may end up winning this one. A coulpe solo HRs may decide this game, if both pitchers find a grove.

I'm still not sold on our bats at all, but it looks as if Nola, Hanover, and Ross have improved some since last year, just not sure how much. We still lack power.

I watched Arkansas play last night against Gonzaga.

Pitching: Of course this wasn't Baxendale or Fant pitching. The starting pitcher got banged up early with 2 balls connecting with him. After that I wasn't really impressed with the Arkansas pitchers except for Astin.

Fielding: 1st baseman had a error on a easy out. Carver had a pretty good game fielding at SS. The Outfield communicated well.

Hitting: Arkansas had a lot of hard hits. The only hit I was really impressed with was Reynolds 2 RBI single.

Base running: I didn't see Arkansas attempt to steal through the game. Is Van Horn getting away from this or just didn't try this game? A few Arkansas base runners got to advance on miscues and passed balls.

Why wasn't Bigham starting? Resting him for Alabama this weekend?

Arkansas won 5-2. Gonzaga had a 2 run homer over the left field wall.
