We need Auburn to lose one more time regardless, so I'm cheering against them until they take that 2nd SEC loss.
As far as Auburn winning making the LSU loss to them look better...how about Ole Miss winning makes LSU's win over Ole Miss look better? Argument could be made that its more important for LSU's late-season opponents to do well in other games so LSU's wins look more impressive than it is for Auburn to make LSU's loss look better. Late season games are the ones fresh in the playoff committee's minds and it could be considered that Auburn loss was under different coach. I'd rather see Ole Miss get back into the top 25 to boost LSU's resume than for them to take a 5th loss, which probably would keep them from being ranked again this season.
