Thank you for making my point. We have 0 examples of relevant QB's that have played 2 sports competitively in the last 40 years.

Mike Miley was named by a previous poster, and was one of the best baseball players ever at LSU (the football offense sucked due to scheme). Granted, I don't think it would be possible to be both a good QB and a good pitcher at the level LSU would expect, with the only possible exception being joining the baseball team late after Spring football to be a one-inning type closer ala Chad Jones.
