When your toughest opponent is an overrated MSU, it isn't hard to look dominant every game.

Don't forget how the SEC is bias towards them. Lets see we get FL. every year they get Tenn. Rotating eastern teams:we usually get either UGA,South carolina or Tenn. They get kentucky, vandy or Missouri. I'd say they definitely have the keys to the car for getting to atlanta yearly.

Let their starting center get hurt and bring in a new guy in a crucial situation.

Bama has had some backup's get hurt, but nothing like LSU has weathered to date.

Defense not as good as last year
No player as dominant as Trent Richardson was

While that is true, I'm still worried about AJ McCarron and how we're going to move the ball against their defense. I still think we have a great shot to win this game, but Bama is legit.

Please do not make excuses for barely beating one of the worst SEC teams ever fielded. Yes, worse than most of Ole Miss' all-time worst teams.

Trust me, I am hoping for an LSU win on Sat but I am certainly not expecting a W.

This doesn't mean anything at all.

Bama had the weakest resume in BCSCG history in 2011 and won.

Bama avoids playing UF, UGA, and USCe in the regular season both this year and next.

2011-2013 sets up nicely for Bama only have to get up for one game a season in order to win the BCSCG. Literally the LSU game and that's it....off to the title game. Now they also have the luxury of knowing they can lose this game and still make it.

And when their schedule finally gets a little rough in 2014....BAM! Media darling final four playoff starts.

Bama is in solid position now for years to come. They have literally become the USC of the SEC:

1) Schedule no one.
2) Dominate.
3) Rely on the media IF/when you slip.
4) BCSCG/Playoff (every year beginning in 2014 as long as you lose 2 games or less on your easy schedule)
5) Hoist the trophy
6) Wash. Rince. Repeat.

Oh to be a "brand" team....
It has its benefits!

I think Michigan could play with UF/USCe/A&M. I don't think they beat the first 2, but keep it respectable.

What Bama did to them was disgusting...and awesome for me

Is MSU better than Towson? Auburn? How dominant did LSU look against that competition?

I think LSU is a hell of a good team and it will be an absolute battle. Bama will prove to be a worthy opponent, as will LSU.

What's your point? Our players get hurt and theirs don't?

What's yours?

I gave you a reason on the goalline fumble: Porter squats very low in comparison to Lonergan, and that, coupled with a DL trying to submarine the OL , caused a fumble that normally would not have occurred.

You might feel that way....not sure if LES is ready for that....last time he sat in the corner and did nothing!!!

I hope the players are seeking blood....and the death valley is louder than ever....GIVE IT ALL!!!!!!

I'm stating a fact. AU season, while 1-3 to that point, wasn't in the complete shitter and it was their first SEC home game.

After those two TOs, Les kept it close to the vest and played extremely conservative the rest of the way on the road. He knew AU wasn't going to do shite against us on offense and he didn't want to give them a short field to work with.

You can repeat that over and over, but it still doesn't change the fact that they haven't had to get up to play ANYONE since Michigan to open the season.

Alabama is getting the OU/Texas benefit (before recent suckage) where those two had a one game season to be anointed the #1 team in the land.

UF has looked like trash all year and might be the most overrated team in the top 10. USCe was outplayed by UT at home last weak. Just because LSU has played teams with higher ranking doesn't mean they have played a tough schedule.

I won't need to. You ask me for the point I was making and I gave it to you. Have you watched our offense play?

..and you've watched Alabama beat up on a shitty schedule, regardless of how they played. Alabama won't be scoring much early and late, like they have been doing against undermanned teams.

LSU plays its best at home against top competetion. Not saying LSU will handle Alabama but this will be something Alabama hasn't faced in 2 years.
